"Returned for 3rd visit and after my last review, we were happy as the original staff were back on and gave us better customer service. Think the owner needs to review what is actually going on with the hot/cold staff.This visit staff attentive and welcoming, thank goodness unlike the last visit.Food hearty and delicious.Service quicker, but not as good as majority of restaurants, hate to see if it was completely full. I personally don't think one serving at the bar taking orders and one doing drinks and bringing food out really works.Remember you walk in, they don't seat you, go straight to bar and order your meals, if the line is long you will be standing there for 30 minutes to have your order taken.!!Novel idea, does it work? For some yes but in the 3 visits we have seen a huge number of walk outs, shame. There is a great potential here but management need to review.Will we return, no 3 visits enough and too many other great choices where we don't have to line up at a bar to order. Real shame."

"Popped in here after lunch for a glass of wine or two (I was on vacation). Lovely little place with a back room and a courtyard, good wine selection. We sat outside as it was a gorgeous day. I had a Pinot Grigio and...my brother had a couple of different wines, also around each. Extremely pleasant and if I hadn't just had lunch would have tried some of their great looking cakes. Worth a try."

"On the recommendation of our lovely and accommodating waitress, we ordered the mixed vegetarian plate and the mixed meat plate. Absolutely delicious! We washed it down with a bottle of sweet but fresh honey wine (also amazing) and were very impressed with our dinner! Would...definitely come again!"

"After reading great reviews online, I suggested to a friend that we meet for dinner here. It was a cold, wet and windy Melbourne night and I was looking forward to some Italian food, especially because I hadn't had 'proper' Italian for a long time. The service was very friendly and efficient. There was a nice cosy atmosphere, with only a handful of tables inside and attentive, happy staff. We ordered a nice New Zealand sauvignon blanc to start, and decided to order the rice balls as an entree. Three decent sized portions arrived. They had porcini mushroom and taleggio inside. They were tasty, warm and comforting. Lots of flavour too. We each had the beef/pork bolognese, which was quite a decent serving. Unfortunately I found that it didn't come out very hot and because we were talking while eating, it was almost cold when I was still eating it. The size was quite a decent size considering it wasn't technically a 'main'. I decided to try a dessert too, so we shared the chocolate fondant and also had tea/coffee. This was absolutely divine! And once again perfect for a cold miserable night. Warm chocolate sauce oozed out of it when it was cut, and it was perfect with the vanilla ice cream and strawberries on the side.I'd recommend this spot for a cosy intimate dinner. I'd also recommend making a booking as it isn't a huge place. The staff work really hard and genuinely care about your experience. Worth giving a tip and a thank you at the end!!"

"It’s a small place, special decor on the walls related to the original country and cozy! We dropped in without reservation on a Saturday night and luckily found a spot for 2! The food was simply amazing, well cooked, spiced perfectly, full of texture and flavor, since the entrée, which we got the “Chef’s selection” that combine the main ones, then we got “Lawand” and “Kabuli Palau” and finally the dessert that I can’t remember the name, but the beauty of the pictures speaks by itself!"
