"I come here to eat 1 3 times a year whenever I visit Goderich. Love the food, and still do!My last visit, we came at 7:30pm for dinner. I didn't know they close at 8pm. Did the hours change? I know I've been here to eat in the past and it was later.Anyway, the food was great as per usual, but we kind of felt rushed out the door. Initially we could tell when we ordered, she felt like that she had to move quickly. No real small talk, just take the order and rush back.The waitress also worked extremely quick in clearing out table, getting our bill which was fine! No issue there.It wasn't until after paying, we got up to leave and was followed by the waitress until we went out the door. As we were walking out, we joked that they must really want us out! Sure enough as soon as we walk out the door, we hear the door lock.We just laughed it off. We weren't offended but it was borderline rude.I took someone who has never been to West Street Willy's and yes, we had a good meal. But it left my first time guest with the that memory. While it was a bit funny, it kind of sucked! Because I normally tell people/recommend coming here."

"We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our children. Because of covid restrictions, we dined at home using the curb side pickup. We pretty well ordered everything on the menu. Our food was fresh, delicious and presented beautifully. Thanks Thyme on 21 for making...our celebration delightful."

"Minutes from downtown,on highway 21 - a great restaurant for a quick breakfast as food is served quickly. Some good specials available every day, very reasonable prices. Lots of parking. The girls are very friendly and greet you when you walk in. Although they are more of a breakfast and lunch place as they close at 3:00 pm."

"Beautiful location at sunset. Busy patio on summer weekends but our wait wasn't very long and they have an abundance of staff which was refreshing! The fresh perch tacos were delicious 5 out of the seven of us ordered and loved it! The pomme frites with garlic aioli was heavenly. It's a beautiful old building to walk through as well.Please don't be mortified... The ketchup was not for the tacos. Lol"

"The Sunday brunch had many diners attending but was lacking enough servers to really take care of everyone which made for poor service. The buffet was dimly lit and did not look very appetizing. I did not like the food and found it to be it bland and flavorless. It is unfortunate that I found this to be a very disappointing dining experience."

"My husband and I stayed there for our 30th wedding anniversary and it was amazing. We found it nice and quiet and comfortable. The serving staff in the restaurant were amazing, both in the morning and evening. The scenery was gorgeous. The pool.was well maintained and had a great view. Overall we had a great stay and are looking forward to another trip back."

"Stopped at MacDonald's in Goderich after our Soccer game and what a huge mistake!!! It started off with an older gentleman coming out as we were going in and he was not happy. Very upset, and told us not to bother going in. We placed our order and it was all downhill from there. There were so many kids working and yet nothing was getting done!!!! We were waiting for a Caramel Sundae and an Ice Cream Cone. Very simple... People ahead of us were complaining that their orders were not right and some had already received their hot items and were waiting forever on their Ice Cream. The man 2 customers ahead of me had a Caramel Sundae sitting there in front of him, and he had ordered a McFlurry, so didn't want the Sundae. The young man waiting on him, just set it aside. Finally it was our turn, and the same young man handed me the Sundae that had been sitting for probably 10 mins., and I said I didn't want that one. He said it was still cold, but I asked for new one. He was not happy, and said they were getting low on Caramel and would I take a Fudge one. I again said "NO" and once again, he was not happy. I watched this same young man drop a cup on the floor, pick it up and then pick up 2 more cups with his fingers inside the cups (!!!) and give them to a young boy. I finally got my Sundae ( if you could call it that!!!). The container was only half full with a tiny bit of Caramel Sauce and I said that I was not going to accept it. One of his male co-workers said he could fix it for me and plopped some Ice Cream on top and it was a mess!!! I opened the container to put my nuts on and the Ice Cream was floating inside and running everywhere. I promptly returned it to the counter and the same young man with the purple bow-tie and major attitude said to me, "Did you take the lid off?" and I replied, "Yes". He said, " Nobody takes the lid off." and I then asked for my money back. He was not happy and made a comment to his co-worker and then angrily "chucked " the Sundae in the garbage. I also watched as they brought out another bag of Caramel (which they should have done when I placed my order) and open the bag and then raise it to his face as he scratched his head!!!! YUK!!! Not what I expect when eating out. Where does cleanliness and hygiene and respect and friendliness towards the customer come into play??? Bad service, bad product, bad experience!!! Seems like the young people running the show, are not properly trained to cope with customer service. Management needs to be aware of this and hopefully work on improving it."
