"Decided to have lunch today was greeted by a gentleman who seated me and served by a very pleasant long lady.I asked for no sauce no roll and Hot Fresh chilcken and fries and this is what I got so was very surprised the quarter leg was hot and at least not like a pigeon.So overall all my requests were met"

"The restaurant is on the smaller side and very casual; basically a flip-flops and shorts type of place. In fact, it’s a bit rough. If you are looking for simple food this may be the place for you. The service is friendly, and the food...was acceptable for our first visit. One places an order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. I liked the all-day breakfast and prices are cheap. It appears to be popular with local families and their children for ice cream at least in summer. I also understand that Sundays are very busy here for breakfast. I would say the walls, floors, furnishings and ceilings are not in good repair or maintained. The restaurant did not appear that clean (stains on most of the fabric chairs; why use fabric chairs? . The washroom was definitely not clean. Lastly, the view into the kitchen is less than desirable. It was okay, but I’m not in a hurry to head back. You will see it tucked to the left of the Esso Station and related Convenience Store."

"Handmade bread, in house made sauces and smoked meats... Always great, customer service is generally pretty good, and the chefs/cooks are always smiling at you. Some people might complain about the prices but you're getting quality food made from scratch, so Im willing to pay $10 a sandwich. The only thing I would want is a new updated sandwich menu, aside from their daily special. You gotta try the smoked turkey, it's my favorite."

"Of course, this restaurant on the 8th floor has some fantastic views of Lake Ontario across to the Toronto skyline. This evening the lake was extremely rough so we were able to enjoy the power of Lake Ontario in bad weather. We started out with a calamari appetizer which we shared which was really enough for two. One of the specials offered (there were three) was Patagonian Sea bass. I have tasted some delicious sea bass on the East coast of the USA and some really bad sea bass at an upscale Niagara Falls restaurant some three weeks previous. Was anxious to see how this meal would turn out. Well, it was just fabulous! The fish was at least an inch think and still SO FLAKY.....topped with a lemon butter and caper sauce and some cocoa nut and salsa.....absolutely delicious. Came with a choice of rice pilaf, garlic mashed and fingerling potatoes....I opted for the fingerling....good choice. Also accompanied by a nice veggie medley. My husband had the osso bucco which he also quite enjoyed. Wine by the glass was very reasonably priced for a generous serving. One small complaint...the cappuccino machine was not working...and this didn't seem to be unusual. Would have loved to end a delicious meal with a good cappuccino. Service was attentive and they had a singer at the piano playing dinner music. Great experience all around."

"My friend ordered double quarter pounder NO CHEESE ORDER WAS WRONG sent it back again order was wrong after waiting 1/2 hour again wrong again waited 5 min got order went home and wrong again dog enjoyed it i am lactose intollerant no cheese means...no cheese"

"We only go there for their ice cream. Stunning stuff. Forego dessert if eating at a nearby restaurant and go here for the ice cream. Right at Christie and Main so very simple to get to off the highway."
