"Since opening my office on Market Street, Emma's Snack Shop has been one of my staple stores. Mostly cold sandwiches and salads, but I love the chili cheese dog. I like to counter it with Emma's Avocado Salad, to please the Health and Gluttony gods : Emma and Nicholas have been in that location for 20+ years and I can see why. Everyone there is friendly. The only caveat is that it's tiny inside, so for a claustrophob like me, I stand outside if it's crowded. If you'rein the area and you need a quick bite, stop by and say Hi to Emma. Metered parking. No bathrooms. No sitting area."

"Disappointed after a long drive to get there. Just went for dessert and got coconut tart and milk pie, which tasted fake. It tasted like they use lime juice out the bottle and not fresh limes. Also got a bun, which was bland. Try putting some spices in them?just taste like flour water and sugar. The one good thing was the coconut tart. Based on the reviews the stew chicken and rice and beans is good. I?ll give that a chance next time, and will exclude desserts."

"Ever since the new owners and the name change, I can say it definitely went up in quality. Giving it 4 stars because yea their food is good but I feel like I am being taxed simply because of the fact that everything is so close to the stadium now everyone wants to gouge prices for everything in Inglewood, even though we've been here for the past 20 years. Finances aside, the quality is good, the pan dulce is for the most part always soft and if you get there early you can still enjoy them warm. They have a little selection of coffee that they recently added too (or I just never noticed) and their horchata latte is fire"

"Great place to eat. The food is spectacular! Clean and friendly staff. I went specifically for the fried plantains and I was told they were sold out. I think the owner went out of his way to get some and had them made for me. The ice coffee is better than Starbucks. My only regret. I dont live close by."
