"The bad weather prevented us from stinging, we fell down on this road, this is not in our habits and we were pleasantly surprised. a 13-euro menu with entrance buffet: crudities, rillettes (very good.) a saignant steak as we had asked and tender with a dauphinois gratin, cheese and dessert (good apricot pie or floating island or white cheese) for the same price a wine pichet. All this is very honest."

"I was thrown into the first stone if no one ever had the blur to cook on a Sunday noon, while it is cold and rainy and you got up late...here in a few words the conditions of our coming to this cafeteria. I also admit that we did not want to raise our budget. very easy access. .parking of the cross-section store next to l to 75.Decorate a little kitch and overannee. . not available in classic. .steak fries, braised ham, andouillette, vegetables. ...etc....Not from the large kitchen, if there is kitchen, hot dishes, industrial pastry. c'est bon, sans plus et copieux. .I admit, nothing extraordinary, but it is a cafeteria and for 35 € for three people. .c is correct."

"Or how to put a night and a day to digest a meal! !Already when you arrive close to this restaurant, you notice that the windows of the restaurant are dirty, as soon as you pass the door, you are assailed by a odor of graillon.... or grease if you prefer, fat that you find everywhere. .vitres, painting etc...After the decor, you love or not, but frankly a good refreshment and a young shot will not hurt....Friendly welcome and coming, top, nothing to say. .for the meal, the quality is not at the rendezvous and frankly the quantities are too important and I am a good eater. Take an example of the aperitif, I chose a home American, the waiter explains that he puts all the wines cooked at his disposal in a large glass! !!! actually the glass is very large, filled with a slice of lemon coarsely cut and idem for the Orange. you drink this and you no longer thirst for the meal. The main dish, a combo snack!!! from the green salad, a hot dog sausage, a hot dog andouillette, 4 slices of cantal and a cornet of fries. Gargantuesque. And dessert. a cardinal made home, which I doubt. She's still a huge part. .on can't enjoy a meal when you go out of the table reput up to thirsty. .so actually it is cheap, 44 euros for two, but frankly the doubtful hygiene makes that I do not recommend this restaurant. ..."

"I feel my holiday has started when we get to The Globe for our first lunch. That means, we 're done with the long drive, queueing for ferries, and we 've opened up the house. We can start to relax. During our stay in the area we 'll probably eat at The Globe two or three times, and it 'll likely be our last meal too as we tend to depart the area in the early afternoon. Friendly and helpful staff even when rushed which they can be when it 's busy at lunchtime. Lots of room inside as well as the terrace. Extensive menu, from salads, omelettes, pasta, burgers, steaks, and a range of pizzas (the latter of course cooked in a log oven) and during the week a menu which is typically €10 12 and gives you a three course lunch, usually NOT something that 's on the main menu. We 've never had a bad meal. We did once have a very slow meal the heavens opened for a major thunderstorm on a day when lots of people were out for a stroll and they all hit the Globe at the same time! We shouldn 't have ordered pizza, the oven can only do two at a time... but the beers kept coming and it was as good a place as any to wait out the rain! The salads are huge. Even the ones which offer a large or small version, the small one is bigger than you would normally expect for a starter . IN fact in common with most french cafes, it seems they don 't really expect you to order starters (except for the menu of course). We share one! The burgers are fabulous you can tell they were made fresh just before they were cooked. Pizzas are excellent, a full meal size and plenty to choose from."
