"The rooms are very small. About 4 square meter for six people in my case. The ventilation is insufficient, especially if it is hot outside. If the AC is turned on, it can be quite loud. There is almost no ventilation even if the windows were opened as they are very small and open only a few centimeters. Enough for a moving train, but not for a stationary one. Most of the bathrooms are also very small. The beds are also not very large. If you are above 180 cm, you will find your feet and head often touching the walls. The walls to the next room are very thin. It was hard and frustrating to sleep my entire stay as I could hear the people next door talking. I could listen to their conversation, even with earplugs! There are no lockers! You also don't get a key for your room. You have to ask the staff to close or open the doors. In my case with six people, the dorm was always open, as people just left without telling the staff to close the door. Really bad concept! Staff was friendly and helpful! Location is good."

"It’s a nice hotel in the center of the city, 3 mins walk from Amsterdam central station, so you can easily travel to neighboring cities or countries. Also, it is a huge plus that you can walk around, and all places are within walking distance from you. The hotel is modern and good looking, the rooms are small, but it's everywhere in Europe. We had a room looking at the canals. I loved the bed! It was so comfortable to sleep and rest in it, especially after you walk every day 15 20 km. The bathroom was good, got in love with the hairdryer. Need to by for myself the same one, so good The receptionist Maria was super cool, nice, friendly and polite, any questions you have, she solved all the problems immediately. Only one negative thing was during our staying we stayed for 6 days) its room service. The cups were not clean, and it was no water bottles) in the room. And it was loud sometimes at night, right over the canal we looking at it was a bar. Overall, I am so happy and satisfied with the hotel"

"A really interesting hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and everything was great. It’s really close to the Metro which is definitely a benefit. It’s reception is a co-working space. There’s a rooftop bar called Canvas on the top floor which serves amazing cocktails and breakfast plus sweeping views of the city. In addition, there’s sauna and hot tub on the top floor. I spent majority of my time in the reception cafe which just had great vibes. Smooth check in and check out, no complaints!"

"For a shorter stay definitely recommended. Room was nice, comfortable and the hotel is quite close to metro/train. When we came we were able to check in earlier because they already had the room ready, the staff was very nice and helpful (informed us about everything and answered all our questions , they even notified me about some discounts that I didn’t know I could use. Breakfast was good with sufficient amount of choices (even gluten-free options! . When it was more crowded, there was no noticeable shortage of food. And again, staff from kitchen was fast and efficient so the guests are comfortable. Also nice that you can keep your luggage there before after you check out, which in Amsterdam I find very useful."

"Hostel is in a great location and largely clean (except not having any soap in our room), but staff were not very friendly and the check-in process is incredibly confusing. The app, which even your staff don't seem to know how to work, doesn't let everyone have access to the room and presents problems if your phone runs out of battery. What happened to a good old fashioned room card?"

"A wonderful experience! The location is a short 3 minute walk from the metro station, about 20 minutes outside of the city center. The hotel is welcoming with free water, local guidebooks, and friendly workers. The room is cozy and clean. Overall, a great time in Amsterdam and a wonderful place to stay!"

"Very nice and small hotel next to the Vondelpark, we stayed for a week. The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful, the hotel was furnished in a very modern style. It's a bit away from the city center, but a quite and nice area with great restaurants close by. I think that young people up to 40y. would enjoy the hotel the most. For me, chairs and the bed could have been a bit more comfy. We booked the breakfast which tasted great, I loved all the vegan/vegetarian options. But I think it could have been a bit more variety, as it stayed the same for the whole week. And maybe additional veggie sausage or something else would be nice."

"Incredible food, incredible service. The staff makes you at home right away and are super friendly and more than accommodative. The food follows up with that high standard and the use of flavours is superb. I definitely recommend sharing the tasting menu — you can't go wrong trying all the different dishes that they have available!"

"This place is quite a popular place for coffee in the neighborhood however, I didn’t find the coffee special at all. Besides that I didn’t like the atmosphere that much a bit dark and small). I will give it a second shot to try some of the pastries or chocolate."
