"Many personal attention from the staff. Courteous and hot coffee was so good. The food was fast and so delicious. We had a tiny problem, and the young lady in the register was quite careful and flew back to the kitchen to pay attention. Clean. I would recommend this facility to everyone. Cousins come from the west for the dog show and we will pick them up from the fairground for a great home breakfast this week."

"Cooper Cafe is still on Douglas Avenue in Cooper Township...but it has a new owner--Christina McDowell Norris, a new name--Nena 's Cooper Cafe, and the lake in the back is now a solid parking lot. The menu has old favorites but there are new breakfast and lunch specials everyday. The beef stew over biscuits was excellent today. If you haven 't been there lately--give it another try."

"I got married at this venue in August. If you are looking for a small ceremony and photo opts with your own photographer I highly recommend the castle. However, this venue promised many things in a package my husband and I paid for that were notfollowed through with. The package we chose was supposed to make the experience less stressful but ended up being morestressful. There was a huge lack of communication after we signed our contract. After asking for the vendors names or businessesmultiple times, we were always told that they would get a hold of us. We had 61 people for dinner, the food was raw for multipletables. This took us by suprise as our tasting was phenomenal and everything was cooked to perfection. Our photographer was anamateur in a professional setting. She was very sweet and seemed very professional but our photos look like anyone with adigital camera could 've taken them; we are so glad we payed for an additional photographer after we still hadn 't heard from thevenue 's photographer 6 months prior to the wedding. The castle was beautiful, and the bakery they used did an amazing job. TheDJ service provided was phenomenal. The servers were amazing and handled themselves very professionally, even when the fooderrors were mentioned. There were many good things as well as some negative. If Henderson Castle is a venue you would like touse, I recommend getting a list of vendors before signing your contract."
