"Romantic, beautiful and completely refurbished hotel in old buildings in the beautiful town of Deidesheim in the Bad Dürkheim-district in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz. Just south west of the old town of Koblenz and close to Germanys oldest present city, the old Roman city of Trier. Also just south of the Rhine and Mosel valleys. Beautiful surroundings and the best wine area of all of Germany. There are dozens of Michelin and Bib Gourmand rated restaurant per kilometer in the area. Pick your spot for your preferable experience, cuisine and budget and go from there. This one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. The hotel’s got a fantastic garden. The breakfast is magnificent and if you stay during a weekend it is recommendable to book a table at one of Ketschauer Hof’s own restaurants. They are closed on Mondays as are most restaurants of fine dining in Europe."

"Second visit. We have currently now between me and my partner tried 4 dishes off the plate menu. None have disappointed and to be fair probably the best vegan cafe we have visited (and we have been in quite a few) Definitely will be coming back again. Staff friendly and attentive. Young lad working there on Saturday was particularly helpful Well done chef"

"The best vegan breakfasts, so much choice and cooked so well, simply delicious! The host, Anthony, cannot do enough to welcome you and ensure your stay is nothing short of fabulous. Sandburne is in a beautiful area with stunning views and is a short walk from the town centre where there are many places serving vegan options plus 2 which are fully vegan as well. A great central base for exploring the Lakes both north and south. Lovely rooms that are quiet, over looking the well kept garden where you can spend time relaxing. Will definitely be retuning."

"Readers may be wondering why I submitted the café given that all it has for vegans at present is a date slice and soya milk. My reasoning was as follows. 1. The date slice is very tasty. 2. The date slice is very big! 3. The staff almost fall over themselves to help you, running downstairs to get soya milk and apologising profusely because the little free biscuits aren't vegan. They really seem to want to give diners the best experience so if more vegans turned up there might be more provision for us. In other news, there is a view of the fells from the back window (though slightly obscured by fire escapes and condensation) and this is an interesting old building where you can buy all the outdoor gear your purse can accommodate. One warning: watch out for the open railings at the edge of the mezzanine; my mother leant her walking stick against them and watched in horror as it plunged through the gap and down to the floor below, narrowly missing innocent shoppers."

"I liked to eat here a few times a day when I'm in the opposite. they always have at least one vegan option, for example the hummous anded peppers panini or baked kartoffel topping. If vegan, it is worth mentioning when they order as one or two of the byhalates have milk. the servings are a decent size. always has some vegan tablet bakers, such as date slices, marked clearly with a w. this is the lake district, so no free parking unfortunately. there are many walks, cycle paths and play areas it is a nice place to spend a few hours."
