"Mixed experience, come for a late lunch and the restaurant was not busy. However after 25 mins I had to ask for an update on my order. The food was alright, nothing special and a little too western in taste to be considered authentic."

"I went to the original Pure Project in 2016 so it is awesome to be able to come to this one and see how far they have come. It was amazing back in 2016 and it’s even better now. Amazing facility and their beers are fantastic. Lauren helped us out tonight and was so knowledgeable about all the beers. She really helped us find beers that suited us. She made a visit to an amazing brewery even better."

"$6 for an orange juice that came out of a great value half gallon is crazy, not even freshly squeezed orange juice cost that much. Food is very mid. Pastries taste very cheap. I’d rather spend my money somewhere else where I’ll get my money’s worth."

"Our family drove up the coast and stopped at the Daily News Cafe for a late breakfast. Everyone was so friendly! The hostess brought us cappuccinos to start and our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our food was served piping hot. The Eggs Benedict was fabulous with a creamy hollandaise and the eggs were perfectly cooked. My husband had the homemade biscuits and gravy and it was the best he has ever had. The kids were happy with their homemade French Toast with fresh fruit. The ambiance is homey and we enjoyed the fresh ocean breeze. We'll definitely be back!"

"This is the real deal! We have been coming here since it opened and are so happy to see them thriving. It is very high quality authentic Italian gelato. My favorite flavors are the pistachio and hazelnut, and my husband usually gets their Stracciatella or something chocolatey. There is a nice variety of flavors for every palate (they offer free samples! , and it doesn't have any weird overly bright colors or chemical flavors (which often happens with pistachio elsewhere! Espresso is great, too. Customer service is welcoming, and there are a handful of cafe tables inside and out. We never stop in Carlsbad without visiting!"

"The two gents that were there working on Father's day morning 6-18-23 were amazing and productive?. My son and I had our bagels? there and watched a rush for about an hour. Their service and promptness and interaction with the customers was pleasant! ?!!!!!Note to delivery apps. Restaurant employees don't work for you therfore you need to respect them!!!! If you have an issue take it upon the delivery app."
