"We were taken to the Burg Post Gasthaus-Café by friends on a Sunday morning for an extended breakfast. Our party was made up of six people. The Café is surrounded by greenery and only a short distance from Schloss Eisenbach, the castle dating back to...the century. The restaurant has old beams and wooden panelling which make the rooms a touch dark. The tables are old fashioned wooden tables. The breakfast buffet was situated in a separate room and although the café was well frequented there was little to no need to queue and the platters were always quickly replenished. Continental breakfast was available with a good selection of rolls and bread and cold meats and cheeses. Yogurts, cereals and fruit juices were available for the healthy eaters! The food was of a high quality. Coffee and tea was available in plentiful supply. The service was excellent friendly and attentive. Used plates, cups and glasses were cleared quickly allowing guests to collect more food from the buffet if so wished. The café also offers a small menu of soup, salads and warm dishes (starters and main courses) which we did not try. It appears the café caters for visitors to the castle and hikers and cyclists passing through. Given the opportunity I would gladly return."
