"An appointment led us to Limburg – no bad appointment. A really beautiful and interesting city. The old town still convinces with real retail instead of chains, well-attended gastronomy, much worth seeing work (the much and media-driven residence of Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elz, which we visited but did not get any space). It should be regional for lunch. That's why we decided to seduce, the decision was not easy for the Schlössje . In the third generation it is now done, it must be done first! Parking outside the door is not here. We parked in the garage, about 5 minutes walk. Service: Regional German-Turkish-friendly service gave us the impression of the holiday in Lahn-Turkish-Adria. I always wonder how prices differ with simple bowls with simple wines. The Skordels good, cool and with "spridle". My husband chose the homemade semmelknödel with forest mushrooms in cream sauce, cranberries and mixed salad at € 10.80. On the way, the small and fresh side salad was served with light cream dress. Then 2 beautiful semmelknödel with mushroom cream. The mushrooms are frozen or even more from the glass. Tastefully good, but unfortunately very difficult in the stomach. So we later looked for a pharmacy (successful with herbal pots). Surely the goods were fine, but with fresh mushrooms my husband never had problems. I then wanted “typically hessian” and decided to: Frankfurt sauce (homemade) with cooked eggs and butter potatoes at € 8.80. On the way I also ordered the additional salad, extra for € 2.50. The food is really good, so I'll rate it. I made the only mistake. In spiritual hessian regional consideration! I like to eat warm, am not a fan of lush sauces and eggs must be soft and warm for me (the dear readers can now think what they want). The dish was really dimensioned, the herbal aromas of the plentiful Frankfurt sauce were great. 3 half boiled hard boiled eggs presented me a charge sample, but good. Meckern can and I don't want to. Ambience and cleanliness: For this house absolutely harmonious. Healthy and rural/rustic, clean and well maintained. Toilets clean. Tables on the outside beautifully covered, and I don't like washable tablecloths, then prefer table in."
