"Delicious food! The eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious and so unique! Great flavours, great designs and well priced! The drinks where ok! Coffees could have been a little better but still tasted great! The iced coffee’s and iced mochas where delicious! Not only that but the mimosa’s where soooo good! Friendly staff and an easily accessible location! Will be returning here again soon!"

"Always the right place for that evening out on Friday's. The antipasto and mains were just the treat, and enough for a doggie bag for Saturday lunch too"

"Our experience was disappointing in many ways. No maitre d' welcomed us to this restaurant which promotes itself as having a french nature (but next to nothing about the venue, the menu or the wait staff shows connection with France), but the waiter was pleasant if speedy when he showed us to our table by the window for a great view of the autumn leafed vineyards and the Coal River. Later another waiter appeared at our table with no name, no welcome, and no awareness that his timing might have been inappropriate, and spoke quickly about a few specific menu details. To slow him down I asked for clarification of what he was talking about and he wasn't happy. In a rush to leave and wipe clean glasses at the bar! No offer of drinks was made at that time but we did have a drinks and food menu on our table and when we were ready, determined on the wine we would like. After a while the waiter returned, we ordered and he brought us the bottle of choice, but his manner was irritating and barely professional through all our dealings with him. The main courses were presented very attractively and were a good size: travalla for my two friends and pork belly for me. Their fish was excellent. My pork crackling wasn't hard and crackling, and there was minimal meat beneath the globular white soft fat. Something about the cooking made this a very strange sensation in the mouth so I would not recommend it. Other events and conversations with the waiter left us feeling very luke warm. We were disappointed with the lack of food menu knowledge and wine knowledge (this restaurant is set in a vineyard and we expected better). If a maitre d' had been managing the dining room, the service situation might have been better and the kitchen could have been told to lift their game or we, as guests, could have been kept informed of the situation. When the desserts arrived, part of two desserts was missing. The flagged down waiter went to the kitchen and returned with the extra for another dessert not the correct ones. Sorry he said but one of the chefs had to be reallocated elsewhere and there was too much for them to keep their minds on. Not good enough we felt. The large venue was very noisy despite being half full. Straining to hear your friends speak does not make for comfortable dining. Overall, one occasional waiter was averagely good and the other needed more product knowledge (how can you serve wine and answer wine questions if you don't drink yet you are employed in a vineyard restaurant - very strange) and training - the management's responsibility. There was no 'selling' of the estate's wines - some were on the menu and we enjoyed the sparkling wine but only because we chose it not because wait staff talked about it."

"Service was absolutely incredible. Came here on Easter Sunday for takeaway since it was one of only a few places open. Asked for pancakes and was told they weren't on the menu, but the lovely staff offered to make the mix up specially. Delicious food."
