"Drove 700km today, and stopped 250km from our destination to eat a meal here and get a hotel room...this is Lloydminister's best restaurant (in our opinion), for these reasons....local, independent , fresh local ingredients, friendly staff, and an amazing broad menu...we couldn't decide what to have so we shared (1) Yorkies (awesome) and (2) Meatballs (really good) and then (3) shared the Salmon(really good)...and then too full to share anything else....the beer was cold, the wine was chilled good, the service was excellent. We sat on the patio, warm bright...and...the place was really busy for the whole time (on a Tuesday evening)...great vibe..."

"I waited for an exceptionally long time at the drive thru only to get home and both burgers must have been made 3 hours ago. They were that stale. Buns were hard. It makes you wonder what the huge wait was for if the burgers had been sitting there. Then I realize they didn't even give me a receipt. I call the restaurant and no one answers the phone. It wasn't even 9pm yet. I was the only vehicle in the drive thru. Hire and train help that give a crap. I watched these two employees standing having a conversation in a foreign language as I sat waiting. This was pathetic. Never coming back."

"I had a lunch ones. Ordered a sandwich and a latte. The place is charming, and food is good (not too many choices though) however, after making my sandwich, the staff left everything on a table where they made it as well as all other produce that I am pretty sure should be stored in a fridge. I sat there for at least 15 min but nothing changed. The place was not busy, but the girls didn't bother to clean up after cooking. They went back to checking out their phones. I guess they were bored."

"I go for breakfast often as it's my favorite meal of the day. I've been going at different location all over town for many years. I tried Maggie Mae's at there new location Monday and I've been there the last 3 days for there daily special. they open at 7 am daily and they are actually open at 7 always or a minute or 2 earlier which isn't always the case with some restaurants in town at 7 am opening seems to be quite flexible. There daily special are 7.95 which includes a full order of toast, 2 eggs,breakfast meat,home made hashbrowns and coffee. the eggs are cooked to perfection no matter how you like them. The potatoes are not greasy. The toast aren't smothered in butter and all toasted properly and not just warm bread. Hand's down the best breakfast in town and also the best deal in town. If you a breakfast person and don't want to blow your bank account and enjoy great food at a fantastic price then this is the place for you."

"I stopped in here for a burger and a beer with my buddy.It was mid afternoon and the place was almost empty.I ordered a BBQ bacon cheeseburger and a side salad and the food was delicious.But the girl behind the counter was neglecting us a bit and I had to get her attention to get another beer a couple of times.Then I ordered desert but it was almost shift change time and she forgot to order it,so I had to wait for her relief to do that.All in all I was a bit dissapointed with the service and I'm not sure if I would go back again or not."

"Stopped in here on Sunday at about 5:00 p.m. The parking lot was full and lots of people inside. We ordered and ended up standing in group of people waiting for food. The staff did not seem to know who belonged to what order. Very confusing even though each customer had a order number. We also noticed the prices are on average 10 cents higher per items than any other DQ we have been to. The food was fresh and hot when it came but we had to go back for missing items. Overall pretty average and a bit of a gong show."
