"Beautiful meal in beautiful surroundings. Eating very typical of the area (except a full pulp (Octopus menu! but served with attention and care. Homemade cakes are available and the food was great. Enjoy our visit and return when in the park."

"This restaurant is unfortunately not in a location it deserves to be. It's right in the middle of a rather boring town in a modern-style building on the second floor. But if we ignore the surroundings, Fuzzyguy is pleasantly surprised by the nice...layout, the contemporary design and the 'clean' overall presentation. The menu does not feature the typical dishes one may find in this part of Germany but a kind of international direction. For example: artichokes as appetizer, sea fish, NZ-lamb etc. The wine list also comprises local and international bottles. We were in the party and were all satisfied with the food presentation, the amount served, the quality and the cooking. Service was swift and friendly and the bill did not spoil our good mood. The chef/owner, Mr. Rosskopf, is the son of former local No. restaurant "Kranz" which has been under unsuccessful new (Swiss) management. Good luck to Am Burghof and congratulations for gaining the No. spot in this town in a short time."

"Had been twice before and it was a good experience. Last Saturday we walked in at 6.20; have you booked? , was the opening gambit from a waiter who seemed stressed and uninterested. No , was our reply and we were shown to a table and given menus. There were two waiters on duty and six tables occupied, mostly couples and one party of 7. After twenty minutes three more tables had been occupied, some having had orders taken we remained ignored, no drinks, no order taken. With the an hour left, and the theatre beckoning, we decided to leave and cut our losses. The manager oozing smoothness appeared and apologised: can I buy you a glass of wine, please stay, we will get you fed in time . We relented, sat down, ordered......... and waited the offer of the wine was not repeated. First came the wine a not inexpensive bottle of Gavi: it was very warm, and the mineral water was forgotten. When I mentioned this the same reluctant waiter plonked it in the the ice bucket and disappeared. The starters came and, because the wine was nowhere near cold enough, I complained to the same manager, asking for two glasses of house white as an interim solution. My Bruschetta was the worst I have ever had, my wife 's roasted vegetables quite good. My main Tagliatelle al sapore di mare was, quite simply, the worst thing I have ever eaten in an Italian restaurant: stodgy, sweet, without prawns and mussels; really very unpleasant. Then came the bill and here 's the thing folks, beware this smooth manager with all the words yet no sincerity: they charged me for the two glasses of wine which had been offered free and stuck 10% service charge on the bill. When I challenged this, he reverted to slippery technique, deducted them from the bill and told us that we had had a good evening. He knew exactly what he was doing. In summary, with Jamie 's Italian and Carluccio 's virtually next door, and the very good De Luca 10 minutes away, don 't waste you time at Stazzione awful experience."
