"We've been to this restaurant three or four times and it never fails to deliver. At lunchtime they offer a three or two course formule' which usually includes a homemade burger or a fish course. There isn't a huge choice but thats because its all...freshly cooked. The speed of service was exceptional, even with a near full terrace our waitress arrived within no time. Only a couple of minutes later our drinks and starters were on the table. The service continued to be attentive and swift. The bill was a very pleasant surprise lunch and drinks coffees for two for under Euros. Overall the food was nice but not exceptional but it gets my stars because of the service, value and charming ambiance."

"The restdurant has a busy bustling atmosphere. Dining is either in the large rear air conditiined salon or outside at the front overlooking the square. During the jazz festival all dining is outside at the front with tables spilling onto the square for maximum ambiance. And in the evening they add a mojito bar! The menu is traditional and the fois gras outstanding. Daily lunch special menus are exceptional value. The staff are warm and professional. A great and authentic place to enjoy the dishes and hospitality of the Gers."

"When this restaurant first opened it showed at lot of promise. Unfortunately in recent months it has gone downhill fast. Today, a lovely sunny Friday when the other restos on the square were packed out, we were among the eight customers eating there. The reasons become evident very quickly. Very poor choice on the set menu supplements on two of three main courses, one of which was duck which is a staple around here!! and the other on the burger service which can at best be described as 'casual ' and food which had quite obviously been brought in from the likes of Brake Brothers. If you service beef tough as old boots mustard is a standard accompaniment but no, they had none. If you serve a burger very ordinary for the price ketchup is a standard accompaniment, but no, they had none. At a price where every other local resto includes wine this was an extra. I don 't expect it to survive the winter and frankly it doesn 't deserve to,"

"We arrived at 7.30pm on Friday evening and as you’d expect it was fairly busy, but not full. I ordered the duck and whilst it was well cooked, the plate was cold and very quickly so was the meat. My partner had the cod which...was excellent. We asked three times for some bread with our meal but it never arrived. Other tables received bread without asking. Perhaps our poor spoken French counted against us? At the end the restaurant tried to overcharge us. Disappointing."
