"When I was dinner in March, I loved the quality of the meal, the quality of the team was perfect! servers at the top! delicious meal! Everything was excellent. I remain dismayed (and it deserves no star) by the false plants! I'm sorry. I'm sorry, but we're not at flunch! with such a beautiful glass, how dare you put plastic alocasia!? Who's doing this? with your brightness there's nothing simpler than putting real plants, anyway! Is there the word palace in your name? No? I put stars just for the teams, and the meal, but I keep holding star for plastic plants! Have you looked at the other palaces around? (genève, chamonix, evian, aix les bains, annecy? real plants is a shame to put fake plants in such a beautiful glasshouse! You can't attack the summer season with plastic! It's ugly! It's unworthy! It's embarrassing! And it's not honoring the place! I reiterate my congratulations to the staff and the meal (bravo to the cooks but bloody, you bear the name palace: no plant should be made of plastic. none."

"This is a Savoyard restaurant, basic but excellent, situated above a cowshed with views (through glass) down to the moo's below. A good earthy smell, simple long tables and wooden benches, local cheese dishes (fondue, raclette, tartiflette). with ham and saucisson, and wine which is paid for according to how much of the bottle you drink. Best in winter after a day's skiing as there is a vast amount to eat. A cheap and cheerful restaurant near the Chateau de Menthon St. Bernard. Perfect for groups but also couples and your dog is welcome too ! I love it."

"On a rainy May 8 holiday (Victory in Europe 1945) this place was packed with people enjoying excellent coffee, lovely cakes, and in many cases a glass of wine, with lots of friendly conversation. An (English) woman had already taken our coffee order before I...could make my way to the display case to check out the selection of patisseries and chocolates. Service was efficient, and they do a menu du jour for Euro14.50. They also have a fun range of local mementos. From our experience this place is a hive of local meet-ups, and welcomes tourists well. It is a gem which deserves its popularity."

"We have spent 2 weeks in bluffy making a home replacement and tweedle tea found the perfect way to start our day. two grand cream and a skorn gave us a window on the world of a small French town filled with warm greetings. from locals to their daily journey to food business. the tiny biscuits with each coffee and delicious and wild expensive. the staff was gracious and friendly when I tried to order the food in French."

"Make sure you book in advance as the locals love this place, and it is a tiny restaurant for 20 guests max!Food is great : tasty, surprising and beautifully presented. Service was simple but efficient. We will come back again next time we come to Annecy."
