"Called into this cafe a few times lately,fresh cooked lunches. Lasagna, steak pie, fish cakes, chicken and leek pie, and a fav chicken curry. And one of the tastiest breakfast in the area. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Will not be disappointed. Oh and great prices !"

"A lovely place to meet for food or just a coffee and a chat. Everyone made to feel welcome, excellent place to practice Welsh if you are a learner. Jamie always ready to help in anyway he can. Food excellent and all freshly prepared, pice...a maen (welsh cakes) are delicious and too moreish for words. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the Merthyr area. Dai iawn Jamie!"

"It was good to get a Marks and Spencer in Merthyr. Sadly the clothes no longer have any appeal to me. However the underwear carries on as ever! The food Hall is good and can even offer reduced bargains and good offers. The staff are always pleasant and it was definitely a good addition to the shopping choice in this area."

"Visited trago Mills today and seen the fish ship for cod sake so decided to give it a try.. Worse and I mean worse chipshop we 've ever tasted chips we 're a mixture of microwave chips crossed with cardboard. I 'm not one to leave reviews but it was that bad"

"My experience this place differs from the other reviewers. tiny tassen coffee that my buddy and I had been ready for long before eating. eating right, my totally wrong. I remembered the server that I had ordered a cold sink and that I waited and waited as people who came after us received their food. I then spoke to the person responsible for me. that was the third of the three employees who were aware of what I wanted: the young one on the until, the girl who wrote down the order and the older women. a whole minute after ordering my food was brought to the table a hot ham roll! incredible. so far I was so hungry and urged for the time that I ate it independently. I am originally from merthyr and would like to have location like this success, but I fear that the personal was completely incapable. this beautiful occupancy area in the old rathaus deserves better."

"We ordered a coffee and cake service to the car, which is a service that Costas offer. You order through the app, they bring it out to the collection point. The young girl who brought it out was insanely rude. Shoved the items through the window and walked away without saying a single word. I said thank you, she didn't respond. I shouted thank you after her in case she didn't hear me (I know she heard me), she just walked off in a mood, like she was offended. If the staff member doesn't like the click and collect system, she should take it up with management/head office, not take it out on the customers. As someone who's worked in customer service, I was quite shocked at the attitude, it was totally unnecessary and disgusting."
