"The service is okay. I always order ahead through the app. Sometimes my food will be there and I'll have to wait 5 to 10 minutes for my drink. There is never a line of people when I'm waiting and the cars in the driveway are never more than 2 or 3 cats deep so I'm not sure why it takes so long."

"This is a health food/supplement/grocery store that also has a juice bar/sandwich counter inside. The store has a lot of supplements and plenty of vegan specialty food. Though they don’t carry everything you can think of, I did see some follow your heart vegan honey mustard that I haven’t seen elsewhere, so I bought it. Prices are pretty reasonable for the items when compared to prices on those same items elsewhere. There is a medium sized bulk items section, but you might find more of the common staples at sprouts just around the corner. The herb section was pretty big (I thought), though I’m no herbalist, so I’m not sure that I would know what you even do with most of that stuff. The store is not vegan, there is honey on tap, and there are also bone broth/paleo supplements and weird fad diet books galore, so there’s the good the bad and the weird to be found here, but it seems like a useful store. I can see myself comparison shopping for prices on toiletry/beauty products between here and sprouts. As for the sandwich/juice bar: I didn’t get juice, so no comment there. The first thing I thought I was going to order, the chicken of the soy sandwich, turned out to have egg in it (which you can’t tell that from reading the menu). I ended up getting the veggie burger and veggie pita, and splitting each with my husband. Each came with kettle barbecue chips (which were vegan, but I still read the ingredients listed on the bag to be sure), and tabbouleh, which was very good. The workers were both very nice, but I could tell they were stressed out and frazzled by the lunch rush, and asked me more than once if I had ordered already (I had). It was at least a 15 minute wait for the sandwiches, but I wasn’t in a huge hurry, so, no big deal. I could tell that many of the other customers who arrived and ordered before I did were not as laid back about the delay. Overall, I’m glad this place is here and exists, since there are so few vegan options in Modesto, but I will probably not go here again as long as TNK vegan cafe is open. I felt a little stressed out just watching them, since it’s an open counter set up."

"Need some lunch? Camp 4. Date night? Camp 4. Private party? Camp 4. Camp 4 is my absolute favorite restaurant in Modesto. I make sure to bring everyone here or recommend it to anyone looking for a good spot. They are located off Kansas on 10th street. The parking lot is small and typically full but don't let that intimidate you, you can find some street parking around the corner. I recommend making a reservation through resy. Weekends get busy and they don't require a card down when you make it, so might as well! The space is stunning. The front half of the restaurant is dark and cozy. They have a host stand with a small merch table upon entering. There's a combination of high and low top tables, the gorgeous bar top featuring all their wine, and you can also see the kitchen busting out plates of food. I would say the back half of the restaurant is designed more for larger parties. They use this space for private events and game night on Thursdays (they serve up pizza these nights! . Definitely take advantage of the good looking patio on warmer days. From the salads to paninis and everything in between, everything is simple and delicious. These are my must get menu items: spicy poke, smoked whipped feta, bruschetta add burrata, froze (summer time special , and the chocolate panini. The staff is always so knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. They really understand wine pairings and that is helpful for non-wine drinkers like me. Put Camp 4 on the top of your list if you're ever in the 209!"

"So, this is a out of the way for me and there is another San Jose Taqueria that's closer (as well as other restaurants), but I keep coming to this location for their burritos. I don't know why their burritos are good... maybe the cook put's attention love? maybe it's the ratio of each ingredient? Whatever it is , keep it up! Writing this review makes my mouth water and I can taste the memory of the last burrito on my taste buds. Enjoy their condiment bar it's always stocked I get one each of the sauces. I also get pickled Jalapenos and grilled Serrano peppers. I pour a different sauce and a piece of pepper for each bite of my burrito and it's MUY DELICIOSO!"

"The dining experience was wonderful. We started with an appetizer, beef carpaccio, which was tasty. Then we had soup and salad, and again each one had a burst of flavor. Our main courses were simple but done well. Ended the night with the zabaglione and the creme brûlée. Each was very delicious. All the dishes were plated beautifully. This is the best Italian cuisine in the northern San Joaquin Valley."

"I have been a frequent patron of Mimis since they opened still enjoy dining here. The music is fun relaxing. I always have very nice service the food never disappoints. I love the 1/2 Turkey sandwich w/ Corn Chowder soup. The only thing I am sorry about is how many tables ONE server has to keep up with. My server yesterday was Tony he was hopping lol! Service always w/ a smile!"
