"We didn't stay here, so can't vouch for the hotel. We stayed next door at the Novotel and unimpressed by the hotel menu wandered up the road and decided to eat at the Campanile. Wow. Where to start? First, we arrived just before 7pm with our toddler, to find the restaurant empty. We were told they didn't start serving food, and were made to wait until 7.10 before anyone took out order. We weren't offered a high chair, and there were no pre dinner nibbles or drinks, so we just sat outside wondering whether to wait or go somewhere else. We made the awful decision to stay put. When eventually someone took our order, my partner and I ordered burgers with goats cheese and honey, and we ordered fish and chips for our daughter. Whilst we waited, we were brought 4 small stones in a basket. My partner insists that these were in fact small ciabatta rolls however, they were rock solid and completely inedible. To be honest, the burgers were OK. Not in the least bit inspired, and a bit of a letdown (goats cheese and honey sounded delicious) but OK. The fish and chips that arrived for my daughter on the other hand was a crime against both food, and children. The fish appeared as if had been caught, drained of all nutrients, sat in the sun for a week, and then dried to the point where it filleted itself to spare it further misery. It tasted bland and cold. The chips were a disgusting soggy affair that reminded me of kebab shop chips the morning after. Needless to say, we decided not to stop for dessert, so as soon as we had packed our stuff, gone to reception, explained why we had been overcharged (seems they wanted us to pay for dessert, even if we didn't want to eat it), received a revised bill and paid... We left. Avoid, avoid, urghh... Avoid."

"Ambiance très sympa, accueil souriant et rapide. Les paninis sont un peu gras mais plutôt bons. La cuisine n'est pas au top de la propreté mais il n'y a jamais eu de problème niveau nourriture. Les prix restent corrects (entre 5 et 8€ à peu près pour une formule). Les cafés et les chocolats sont bons et au même prix que dans les machines à café. Un petit plus pour la réservation des menus le matin qu'on peut aller chercher le midi afin d'éviter la file d'attente qui parfois est très longue !"

"French cuisine at its best. This is a very popular Restaurant in the Rouen North area. The food is exquisite, prepared from fresh and mostly local produce. I have visited this restaurant several times and never been disappointed. However, it is useful to call ahead as the place tends to fill up quickly."

"We came to dinner one evening in September in this restaurant. The service is very convenient, many entries, desserts and vegetables are offered to you. The dishes are well cooked and good quality. desserts are varied; pancakes, waffles, chocolate fountain, caquettes, chocolate cakes, apple pies, strawberry cakes, floating islands, yogurts, fruits, candy... I recommend this restaurant that is cheap compared to the proposed choice."

"Très bonne initiative d'installer Otrechoze à l'Asruc. Il manquait un endroit où se restaurer dans ce coin de MSA. Surtout pratique pour les membres de l'Asruc, mais aussi pour les bureaux environnants j'imagine. La cuisine type brasserie est très satisfaisante. Plat testé: veau sauce aux champignons et ses frites maison réussies. L'équipe (chef inclu!) est sympathique et dynamique. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Vivement le printemps qu'on puisse y déjeuner ou prendre un café en terrasse."

"I won't go back! Order placed in click and collect. Endless waiting. Employee who huffs in annoyance when she gets into the wrong car because it's cold. (Giving them a fleece would surely be a plus when they have to go outside, especially with the current temperatures... . Order completely cold and the ice cream was melted. I wanted to go to the counter to report it but given the wait I quickly gave up. Once we returned to eat, we were delighted to discover, when we opened the packets of nuggets, that on some of them there were sort of white tissue fibers clinging to the breading. The 2 packages were not even eaten out of disgust. We were regular customers of your restaurant. So we will now only go to the competition."
