"The location is initially breathtaking, especially from the terrace above the tarn. Service is good, friendly and attentive, without ever pushing. Before food treatment, readers should note that this review is at the price level and the... expectations that this carries. If you are looking for Michelin, you are in the wrong place and the wrong laureate. The pâté we started was homemade and very, very good. I had trout for the main course. The fish was slightly seasoned with some salt and pepper and served with lime to overpress exactly what you want when the fish is fresh and of good quality as it was here. The trout was cooked for perfection with crispy skin and meat that fell from the bone, but not cooked for a second more than necessary. The homemade pommes with which it came were great, not only good, but great. The dessert menu may be a bit overwhelming, but the cheese looked great. In short, this restaurant does not offer elaborate, extravagant dishes or a very large selection, but what they offer is made exactly right. The same applies to the wine list, briefly, regionally and clearly considered (we had a very beautiful Gaillac). The value here is great and you would have a hard time to find cheap coffee and pastis everywhere in France."
