"Great. Im picky. Ex-barrista. Ex Seattle-ite. GF except for my 1 a year choco. Croissant. Excellent combo or pastry, authentic choc. Oaxaceño calient and a cup of slow filtered cup brew. Perfectly small, unpretentious, and friendly. Good lighting for book reading (a selection to choose from in house as well. Its not trying too hard. I look specifically for these types of places to take a break from my travel hubby. Must come if you'd like to try a handful or coffe/hot chocolate places during your trip. Coffee not bitter. They have OAT milk! Salud!"

"Dropped by by chance. Ordered a Tostada....Wow! It was the size of the plate. Awesome taste. Great service. My wife and I plan to go next day to try their breakfast. Update: had breakfast; just average. Same with service. Will come back only if I am in the mood for Tostada."

"I had a great dinner that was reasonably priced here, but I was also on the mosquito's menu. There's a lagoon that has formed just next to the restaurant due to the excessively rainy season last fall and the stagnant water is quite the breeding ground. You won't know you've been eaten alive until the next day. Apply repellant (especially to your legs) and you should be just fine."

"From any reason the baked goods we bought in oaxaca were not at all light and fluffy, and I would suspect that it is what they use instead of butter. the chocolate and fruit stuffed bake had only one gram or two of the filling, enough to dye the dough, but not enough to taste. cafe americano is good and her hot chocolate with water is excellent."
