"We stopped by here for a light lunch. They have 2 vegetarian/vegan plates. I ordered sautéed vegetables with mushrooms and flavor was great, but a tad oily. Champagne sangria is recommended as well. Overall a nice place to have meals."

"I was looking for a good place to lunch. in the walls the prices were high and restaurants empty. I dared before the walls and to my joy found this beautiful restaurant. the service was excellent and the prices slightly lower than those within the walls. the name of my server was telmo and he ensured that I enjoyed the local kitchen."

"At the advice of our renter we chose this restaurant for lunch. when we arrived, people waited. it was worth waiting. the first note that good foods would follow was that the place was fuller of natives. we had a miraculous lunch with about eight tapas that were brought to us to share as huge steaks, salads, delicious bread and desert and coffee. homemade cookies and delicious made by the restaurant liquors were brought free at the end of the meal the only negatiw was that several people were annoyed at our table when the bill came and they had not recognized that they would have to pay for the tapas. for me it was obvious."

". okay, so this place is right behind the big, crazy church, on the main road. it is 5 minutes to walk, on the pavement and is safe from the walls at obidos. behind the church there are two restaurants, this looks like a snack bar and is on the right side as they look at them. it is guided by a guy who looks like he did, but he's a real one. eating is unbelievable and priced at normal Portuguese trips, not inflated flats, as usual in obidos. I ordered steak portugues, it came with fried kartoffeln, a huge salat, brot, oliven and I had two bottled beer (superbock) and the total bill was 11 euro. the steak was huge and excellently cooked and presented, without doubt the best steak I had lived in portugal over 12 weeks here. at a normal place they get a 3-course menu with drinks and coffee for 7.50, so it is still a tad more than the norm, but what a place, every penny worth and if they go in obidos for every amount of time, they will go back for more."

"We were 8 days in obidos and went every day to lunch in os felipes. I was so excited about his eating and the overall friendly atmosphere of the restaurant that I decided to write the first review ever about it. simply do not go there when they expect challenging dishes or a set-up for tourists, at os felipes they eat the same eat rural workers for lunch, fabulously fresh ingredients cooked by and for native in a very honest and simple way. it is a well-known fact, as restaurants are overpriced in obidos. only one example, we had a bacalhau com natas in os felipes for 4,90 eu; the same court was 11,90 eu in another restaurant in the walls. not to mention the good selection of ginja they have. os felipes is in any case a good option if to eat in obidos."
