"This fine establishment will always be special for myself and Daughters who love to sing with my Nanna. We love the food, nice and friendly patrons and the staff very helpful. My last visit included me injuring myself, nothing too serious but I was looked after well and we stayed til the end of the night. The owner has been so welcoming and encouraging to my Daughters, some years ago first seeing them and now to have my Girl remembered and spoken off with such pride, thank you so much Parking: Carpark is to the west of the Ale House, on the left within the next lot of storefronts."

"I have visited Harpers a few times as a local and although I find the food produce to be pretty good, the customer service is poor. Today I waited to be served at the deli and it took a good 5 minutes for the girl behind the counter to stop playing around with boxes. Then she decided it was more important to serve to a regular who pushed in. Neither acknowledged this and carried on. This isn't the first time either that I've encountered their staff to be pretty arrogant and snooty. Good local produce, but suggest staff need to be trained to acknowledge their customers, otherwise they will go simply elsewhere..."

"I 've been a regular at 39 Steps since it opened. Fair to say it 's at its lowest ebb currently in all that time. I still drop in for a coffee pretty regularly, and I want it to do well because it 's my local, but it needs to lift its game. It doesn 't seem that there 's a manager there at all these days, as no one really seems to be in charge. If someone is in charge, they need to take charge and sort out the problems. The coffee (the most important bit) is hit and miss, depending on who makes it. By way of constructive feedback: Shouldn 't have to wait 10 15 mins for a coffee. At busy times, get your team cranked up and working as a team. You 've got two steamers, so you shouldn 't have a load of coffee shots lined up with people waiting on the one and only person who is doing milk. Coffee should come how it was ordered every time. The young staff are nice enough, but 'highly motivated ' isn 't how I 'd describe the overall operation. It was never 'fine dining ' but it was decent. Now it 's not, and it 'll bomb completely if it isn 't sorted out. C 'mon guys."

"As an ex McDonalds Employee I know what to look for the staff did an excellent job taking the order, but they always seem to forget seasoning. Either too much or none at all in this case seasoning wasn’t present in my quarter pounder. Chips were fresh This was a drive thru service so I hadn’t the chance to see what cleanliness of the store was like."
