"This spot is so good every time! This was my second visit to Odeciexe and I was looking forward to revisiting this charming beachside bar/resto. This time around I spent two weeks in Odeciexe and frequented this spot MANY times (its the type of place that starts to feel A bit like Home after a few visits thanks to the super nice staff and home cooked style food . This is the perfect spot to stop for a tasty brunch on your way to the beach (the scramble egg with 3 ingredients and fresh OJ was my go to . It’s only a 5 minute walk up from the main beach so it’s excellent for an easy and delicious lunch or some Drinks (try the sangria! My favourite time to dine there was always dinner. The town quiets down after the beach rush and their is such a nice ambience in and around the restaurant. For starts the playlist is always soooo good. They even offer it on their Instagram!. Their ALWAYS excellent daily dish (usually a warm stew of sorts accompanied with a nice glass of wine or one of the artisan beers they offer is truly the nicest way to finish off a day at the beach in Odeciexe. The owners are always the nicest and incredibly detail oriented. From the cute decor and dish ware (and again that playlist! to the thoughtful menu of comforting food along with excellent service this is a don’t miss stop If you’re lucky enough to pass through Odeciexe. Can’t wait to visit again!"

"The place is a total rip off and not worthy for her money. I ordered a steak that cost me 17,50 € and the steak was very small. are very small for what they pay. they call it the chic French style, but there is nothing. French about it. only a grilled steak with mushrooms. not worthy of the money. also my kumpels ordered the grilled tinten fish to share for two people and they complained that it was only enough for a person when they paid over 30 euro for the court. the feijoada was completely over boiled, which looked like a chaos, and at the end the owner had the boldness to tell us that we had too long with our dinner and that they needed our tables to give others. we arrived at half 7 and left at 9 o'clock. we did not know that it ticked clock counted our time we needed to eat our meal in a hurry for them to get the tables free and make more profit. I do not recommend this place definitiw and will never go there again. the place is only a leaf hole!"

"Slowly and unrespectful, after two hours waiting time, the meat arrived blue and I had to bring it back to the kitchen, as the waiter did not stop on the table for minutes. this is my worst experience ever and also the reason why I’m my first review to tell them to run from this place."

"Great restaurant for watching life go by and certainly very popular as it was packed when we went. The food was great - beautifully presented and very tasty. The service was, however, not the best due mainly to the fact that the restaurant was so busy and there didn't appear to be enough staff on duty to meet the demand. It is for this reason that I've given it a rating of 4."

"This was the second time that we had visited Cafe Dorita by the beautiful beach at Odeceixe, since discovering that virtually the entire waiting staff had decamped here from Chaparro in the main village. The view from the terrace across the broad sands to the...river which runs around the back of the beach is just stunning. We were greeted like long-lost friends! I had a grilled ‘musician fish’ (no, me neither, nor anyone on Twitter or Facebook), while my wife had steak. The fish was presented to me for inspection and had a touch of orange about the gills. It turned out to be a good, firm, white fleshed fish, with rather a lot of bones but was perfectly cooked and good value for 12 euros. We shared a chocolate and strawberry cake for sobremesa. Wine was a decent bottle of Portuguese Chardonnay at 10 euros. The bill, including coffee and a brandy, came to just over 40 euros. The service could not have been prompter or more friendly."

"This is the best pizza place we’ve stopped by on our hiking trip. Odeceixe is a wonderful little town not far from the cliffy coast of Portugal. The Pizzeria Central in the center of this beautiful settlement is a very cool spot. The owners a...are just great. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in their nicely furnished restaurant. The pizza (though a little bit overcheesed is thin, crusty and actually how it’s supposed to be (who is AVPN again? . The beer is affordable and the espresso (we’ve ordered when we returned to the place the next morning perfectly strong. We’ll give them five stars."
