"We stopped into this pub because we liked how the building looked on the outside just an old looking building in downtown Owen sound. We walked in and we loved the old school feel. Very cold beer which is what we were looking for we didn't eat here just stopped in for a quick cold beer. It has a cool feel to it."

"We were gifted a charcuterie board by (Toronto) friends. We confirmed our order for New Year’s Eve and added meat to our gift board.Our board was suggested for four people, but with the added meat would have easily served 6-8 people for a special occasion.Please see our photos.We’re happy to recommend and we’ll be back and will consider as a gift in the future."

"Stopped in for breakfast and glad we did! Had the veggie and cheese omelette with delicious toast (I chose marble rye - amazing.)! They have fresh bread on site with lots of flavours to choose from. The meal also came with home fries nicely seasoned. The omelette was full of veggies and just enough cheese. Coffee was good too. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again!"

"Honestly, the food here made me change my attitude towards vegan cooking. The atmosphere was perfect from the get-go. The owner talked to us right away, brought our food over personally and had a little chat with us. The regulars chimed in a little, and it just felt like I was eating at home with a bunch of friends. What a great experience.You really have to eat here and see for yourself!"

"I grew up in the area and recently moved back. This location has been many different eateries over the years. We went today with my parents, who had picked the location. What a great surprise! I had breakfast for lunch (because it's available until 3 p.m), my husband had a club sandwich and my folks each a Reuben. The sandwiches were big and my breakfast was perfect, especially my peameal. The place was busy considering it was after the normal lunch time. Despite this, our waitress was great. The place was clean...always something I appreciate. We will pop by again, for sure."

"This is a usually good place to go..and still is I guess. The owner has jacked the prices to the point that we don't go as much anymore. Example 9 0z wine is $17 bucks, Inn on the Bay is $12 and just as good. The prime rib is now $35 and $44 for the lg size, trouble is the portioning is out of whack. One day the $34 version is almost the size of the $44 version, and, viceversa, works both ways as I have found. But one thing, the draft beer is outstanding, never flat, and always cold, so I can overlook some of the food problems for a good cold draft. Wings and ribs always good, last week the fish and chips were overcooked, dark brown with a heavy skin on 2 small pcs of fish for $20. But the Covid thing may be affecting with help etc so i am willing to keep trying again."
