"Been here three times in a week, enjoyed the Steak on the stone, very tender... Espetada great value for money and very tasty. Mixed grill could have been better there was one peace of meat that was a bit dry.Very friendly and polite service by all employees. A must when visiting the region of canico."

"We visited on a very windy and showery day, so this restaurant certainly lived up to its name!! The shoreline is very nearby and it was great to see the waves crashing as we ate the fruit of that same ocean. I chose the black scabbard fish, with a salad and local poncha, well you must try something Madeiran and found that I was given two good sized fillets with a sauce and a banana. Some people frown on the idea of the banana, saying it's not traditional..... well, I don't know, but I found the combination to my taste. My wife had a tuna sandwich with chips, which she enjoyed, after pinching some of my salad even though she already had some on her sandwich! The total bill was 21.50 Euros, so we added our tip and went away fed and content."

"We ate here while we stay at the sisterhotel estalagem. we were able to add our bills in the estalagem at eating in the hotel da vila. we had a meal here and we had a coffee on a morning. the evening meal was delicious and a good one. we had typical brot with olive and mozerella. net: seafood stew and a delicious tuna steak served with the typical cornmeal rosmarin fried cubes. plus a few glasses wein for 52 euro. good value."

"Rustic open fire cooking, suppe, roast chicken, decent wine. everyone who eats there looked like he had a ball. we had only coffee, a glass of wine and a few cakes. will be back even though the smell was fantastic alone."
