"We walked up Alp Languard from Pontresina, to this bergrestaurant. Which was steep, you need good shoes, but do- able. It took us 1,5 hour to get there and to walk back on the other side. The restaurant is lovely and serves good smelling Swiss food. We had coffee and blueberry pie with cream. Hmmm! But not cheap, like everything you eat in Zwitzerland. The views and atmoshere around this restaurant are simply amazing!! Mountains with snow, little rivers running through green fields, wooden bridges, blue skies...everything you want it to be...and better! You can also take the sesselbahn up...but I like to walk!"

"The menu is of average pricing (19.50 CHF) and offers some unusual items like cocoa ravioli with venison filling, and chestnut cream soup. The pastries are so varied and appealing that we found it hard to select one. The merengue balls are filled with marzipan and covered with chocolate. There is a terrace and also a nice indoor area. I'm glad we stopped on a whim."

"Only in St. Moritz for a few hours and this place was busy ! Assuming this was popular for a reason we waited for a table outside. Could not fault our lunch. Smoked salmon salad was great and a really generous helping of salmon. If you're from the UK it all seems expensive but you're in Switzerland and this was good value. Waiters were very pleasant as well."

"Large sunny terrace, regional dishes in various sizes (snacks, full meals, desserts) and of very good quality. It was extremely busy during our visit and we had very long waiting times first to order and then for our food and finally one of four dishes was missing for even longer, but the service was friendly and the food very good. Manager and waitstaff were genuinely sorry about the delays and that went a long way with us. Prices are regular for the region, e.g. a Coke CHF 4.50, Iced Tea CHF 4.00, bottle of sparkling water (10 dl) CHF 9.00. We had two variations of Rösti, an appetizer plate with cheese and cured meats, a sausage cheese salad and a rhubarb strawberry tartlet with ice cream all very very good. Would return if in the area again."

"The small, but lovingly decorated vaulted cellar in the heart of pontresina emanates a very own charm with its few tables. with damped light and candlestick we enjoyed a very fine fondue with vacherin and local cheeses. the consomme as warmer was simply delicious. the rich fondue portraits were generously thought up and provided us with well-filled bellies. We cried a fine sauvignon blanc by brandovich, which fits perfectly with the cheese food! For the perfect rounding of the evening, the friendly and accommodating waiter from the South Tyrol, who did not wish to be open and recommended for speis and drank. small tipp: due to the small number of tables absolutely reserve, even outside the season."

"My wife and I ended eating here twice during our off-season, stay in St. Moritz. From the get-go, we were impressed by the restaurant's strict adherence to requiring proof of a pass sanitaire, and how all the wait staff were fully and correctly masked....Throughout, the staff were courteous, attentive (but not overly so) and efficient. Most seemed to speak three languages at least (Italian, German, and English). We were not disappointed by the food and the wine either. For dinner we enjoyed venison stew, and one of their less expensive wines by the glass (which was actually quite good). We were charged for water, but it was filtered water and less per liter than at many restaurants. The following day we returned for fondue, washed down with a half bottle of Fendant (a white, Swiss wine). The fondue was good and copious, served with cubes of what seemed like somewhat whole-wheat bread. The restaurant's ambiance is relaxing: the music playing in the background is subtle, and the decor attractive (with dozens of caricatures of locals on the walls). All in all, highly recommended!"
