"Popped in here for a waffle whilst on holiday in the area a couple of weeks ago. The waffle was the best I have ever had and had to make a return visit before I flew back home. Would thoroughly recommend this place."

"Just a little cafe kind of place run by a lovely Brazilian couple. The cheapest food you will get anywhere - and it is really good!We came a few lunchtimes and had delicious soup, salad, toasties etc. Closes early in the evening - well in April it did. Might be different high season. Definitely recommend for a light snack."

"Visited a couple of times for lunch, one of our favourites along the boardwalk! Only had sandwiches and a couple of drinks, but really nice food, friendly staff and reasonable prices! Would definitely visit again if in the area!"

"My wife took me to this restaurant for a meal for my birthday, late on Sunday afternoon. The place has a small entrance off the main top road in Praia da Rocha which opens out to the restaurant after passing through the front bar and what a delite, the terrace area at the back has a great view over looking the rocks and beach.Anyway we were greeted by warm friendly staff and after having a drink at the bar went through to the restaurant its self. We ordered two dishes which were recommended to us, one a chicken curry and the other a lamb stew,(Portuguese/Angola dishes), both with rice and of cause we had the couvert to start. The wine was good and went down well. All in all the food was out of this world, the service brilliant with the lady & gentleman who served us keeping us entertained all the time, so funny, great people. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will most definately be going back, just brilliant."
