"Had a lovely lunch here. Found it very reasonable 11.50 euros for a starter and main course. Opted for the dish of the day marmite au poissons. Turned out to be a sort of fish hotpot which arrived in a big pot for...4 of us to share. Delicious! Prawns, mussels, big pieces of fish and squid rings with potatoes. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant was very pretty in a lovely old square full of flowers. Toilets were superbly clean a very big plus! Would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Walking up The Valley from Lamanère , through a wood abundant with mushrooms and wild flowers , we came across the Ermitage at the top of a track, meters off the GR The original building has been restored as a hostal with many...of the unique historic features maintained and access to the restored chapel, well worth a visit. The views across the mountains are breathtaking and there is a real sense of calm. The evening meal was superb and the hosts were very flexible to ensure that all dietary needs were catered for. the accommodation is very clean and comfortable with efficient hot water and access to drinks outside of meal times. It is perfect for large groups as well as single travellers. Isobel and Frank, who are warm and hospitable have set themselves a challenge, but this place has huge charm and is wonderful value for the treat that it is. The access track needs careful negotiation at points if you have a low suspension car, but it is worth the effort and no problem at all if you are walking, either up to the road or walking on towards the Coll d’Ares. We plan to return again and again"

"45 minutes d'attente pour 4 pizzas avec une pâte tout juste cuite.. canettes de soda arrivées sur table déjà ouvertes... oubli de l'eau pour le Ricard.. personnel de service aimable mais trop lent, pas réactif et dépassé par 30 couverts (mais sont ils formés au service ? j'en doute!) Un conseil, réduisez votre terrasse de moitié (ou utilisez celle inutilisée côté montagne avec une vue à tomber!) et concentrez vous sur réaliser de bonnes pizzas (vous avez un super four à bois!) avant de vous éparpillez sur d'autres plats. Nos voisins de table ont regretté leurs plats de pâtes sans goût et leur viande impossible à mâcher. Non vraiment, il faut revoir les basiques !!!"
