"I was here a few times and find her sandwiches very good. Today I had a rogg with russians and koleslaw. the taste brought me back to my youth, which grew up in the lower western chester county, ny. I really enjoyed it. I also had a cup of coffee and it was really good, as advertised. when you look at the top of your sandwich menu, it refers to wedges, the understood is almost exclusive for the lower ny. there must be a connection. service was pleasant, but certainly not rushed. they seem to do a fleeting service. there are only two small tables if you want to eat (there are more outside for seasonal visits), so plan to take."

"We moved to Queensbury in 2016 from Niagara Falls. My daughter came for a visit and found your restaurant/deli when she drove in, and she bought a ton of your food... what we generally enjoyed! Every time she arrives, and when we drive back to Niagara Falls, our last pit stop at Lox of Bagels - we naturally love the Bagels - but love the bagel chips and the salmon cream cheese and the Chive cream cheese. Sooooo good!!!! I will order a ton of stuff tomorrow to go home!!!"

"If disappointment becomes a pleasant surprise, it is. We had gone to Sutton's marketplace in Glens Falls to find their gift shop for a specific article. When we went through the door, none of the regular items such as candy, maps, toys, jewelry, kink snacks, etc. were there. Instead we found ourselves in a taproom with a pool table! We were told that the marketplace café was still in operation in front of the building for breakfast and lunch, the rest of the building had been converted into Farmstead Flatbread, a taproom with all handicraft beers on tape and a wood-fired oven for making pizza. Unfortunately we were not hungry or thirsty at this point, so we continued our drive to the north. But a few hours later, when we came back to the south, we now looked at eating somewhere for a bite. EUREKA! Pizza and beer seemed to be the perfect combination when we approached Queensbury. I have already said that the first thing you see when entering FF is a pool table. The first thing you could hear is your steps... the floor is covered with one of the floating, wooden beams, engineered floors. It clicks like a tap dancer with every step. Maybe this is suitable for a taproom! The taproom and the dining area are rustic. The table spacing is generous and the oven is the main focus in the dining room. The focus is on locally produced products. Thus, the 20 designs contain local beers such as Paradox, R. S. Taylor, Schmaltz, Adirondack Brewery, Druthers, Common Roots, Mean Max, Captain Lawrence and Duvel. Food ingredients are also producers from the Adirondack and Hudson Valley region. We started with pints from Sea Dog Hazelnut Porter $6 and R. S. Taylor’s Willie’s Nut Brown Ale $6. The Cranberry Rosemary Wings special sounded like a very interesting combination. Wings are available in orders from 5/$5.95, 10/$9.95 and 15/$14.95. Our order of five was somewhat incompatible. Some were crispy and some weren't. All were fleshy and most were juicy. The cranberry sauce was delicious and the rosemary taste was almost inseparable. Pizzas come in two sizes. We decided to order two of the smaller ones for a variety of flavors. The small size is NOT your typical individual pizza. It's a little bigger. Interestingly, the smaller pizzas are not cut into cake form. The holder of the wood oven guides the cutting wheel simply over the middle, then makes four parallel cuts perpendicular to the first cut. My wife saw the bigger pizzas cut like a typical cake. Our local Yokel $11.95/$19.75 had organic tomato sauce, house made nitrate free sausage with local pigs, sun-dried tomatoes, caramelized onions, mushrooms, cheese and fresh herbs. All toppings were very fresh. The sausage was particularly good. However, as it is tasty, the dough could benefit from more time in the oven and/or closer proximity to the fire. The floor was only slightly brown stained and there was missing a cripple that was necessary to support all the blows. The dough was also noticeably chewing. The special pizza for the day $9.50/$17.50 was a white flatbread with bride, apple, caramelized onion and fresh rosemary. The dough on this pizza had a little more chargan both on the bottom and on the crust. The apple added a beautiful sweetness and crispy and went quite well with the onions. The rosemary was used sparingly. I didn't notice the chewiness on this pizza until it was cooled. Service was efficient and covered, suitable for this type of facility and gastronomy. If you are regularly here, I suppose you would be able to meet different cooking times for wings and pizzas to meet your preferences."

"Love cool beans! Great service! Nice food. Limited coffee selection unlike the early days. Everything is fresh and quickly prepared. Parking is sufficient. From the street. Not far from exit 18. Near Hannaford."
