"Took a punt on this place and boy did it pay off! Really nice setting - not pretentious, but not dodgey. The food was amazingly fresh and tasty, from the lovely freshly made dips and bread to the mint tea at the end! The lamb tagine was to die for. The honey yam and vegetable tagine was fresh and tasty. Service was efficient and attentive, without being overbearing. $120 for three people with more than we could eat! Will definitely be back!"

"Beautiful new look to the cafe. It offers a wonderful menu and delicious food. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was very chilled. Highly recommend their mega milkshakes you need a few people to share it ???? it is soo BIG. All in all had a wonderful experience at this awesome cafe !!!"

"Had dinner at this Restaurant on Sunday evening. Ordered lasagne, potato wedges, kids ham and cheese sandwich and steak meal. All ordered foods were of poor quality. The potato wedges had black skin on each of them, it's like they used rotten potatoes. The kids sandwich, I.e the bread was stale and no butter on bread, very badly done. The lasagne was presented in plate very badly, they heated it up in a oven proof bowl and served it in same dish with unfresh salad. Steak was not done properly as well. Besides all that the toilets were disgusting and filthy. Had to take my year old to Randwick Ritz Cinema to use toilets. Also flys were flying inside. Worst of all at the back of...read more"

"Great coffee, fantastic food, friendly service. like most foodies, these are a few of my favourite things, all of which I am fortunate to have found here at Nooks Place. This is my local and I love their coffee. Stay for breakfast and try the big breakfast, their BLAT (add an egg for extra deliciousness!), or possibly Sydney's best bacon and egg sandwich? For me, its the big breakfast - home made beans, stunning mushrooms, chorizo, bacon, two eggs your way and turkish toast. Did i mention the wilted spinach and tomato? Big By name, big by nature. This is a great local cafe with sun drenched morning tables (if you are quick) and a cosy inside feel. It has bike parking too if you are looking for a ride friendly stop. I really enjoy my local, perhaps you will too!"
