I loved cafe rio when I first discovered it on a trip to ut about a decade ago. they finally arrived in my former home state wa an and how many good restaurants do when they come to wa, their quality and service took a quite pronounced jump down. I have rarely eaten there in the last few years, but I was in the city that broke some of my children in school, and I had the opportunity to eat with my cousin who was also there. She wanted cafe rio and I agreed to meet her there. it just needs a good experience to bring them back. it happened so often with red robin, I lost the count. I think their recent decision to get rid of my favoritesburgs and the fact that I no longer live in the condition of their origin, probably signals the end of this relationship, but my meal in this cafe rio location was very good and they might have got me back. the food was fresh and tasty, the service was friendly and fast and this place actually emptys its cans, in contrast to its lynnwood, wa location. a persistent complain I have at cafe rio is the refusal to make substitutions without loading them, but I have just ordered an salat at this visit and had no subs. I guess I'll try one of their stands in my new hometown in nw and see if the quality keeps, but these young are a credit for the organization."
