"$16 for 2 coffee?! as a scandal as we have loved this little caffe by various owners over almost 35 years. very happy to pay a little extra to support locals, but this is really ridiculous."

"Have been coming to this café for about 15 years and have always liked it but since the last change in management it has steadily gone downhill. It is now at the point that myself and my family will not be returning. We ordered a toasted sandwich and received ham and cheese on a single piece of bread which has always come with two pieces, when I questioned the fact that there was a slice of bread missing and was abruptly informed by the arrogant lady who appears to be in charge or the owner that it was an open sandwich. We ordered eggs and bacon and that was the same, one piece instead of the two they have always provided. The food in general was of poor quality and smaller servings...read more"

"With a friendship group of over 30 people, we went to this restaurant for lunch. We will never go again !! The”manager” this day was the rudest, most inconsiderate person of such an establishment,that I have come across. She was inflexible with regard to a couple of people who needed to vary their meals a little due to dietary requirements for starters! We ordered a glass of wine which we paid for by Eftpos and decided that she was having a bad day, and for the sake of the others in the group , decided to make the best of it. We ordered a glass of wine each , and paid for it by Eftpos. Then came the interesting part. Our group members were each getting their monies together to pay as a group. We had no cash, as was the case for a few others, so we intended to pay by Eftpos. We were told by this lady, that she would NOT accept any payment apart from cash. We queried this and explained that we had just paid for our wines by card????? She said that , that was different and that the lunches were to be paid for in cash. We had a group booking for this get together. She would not allow payment by card of any sort for the meals.No Eftpos, even though the sign on the front door, displayed Eftpos available. We obviously had to leave and went elsewhere. Apart from the attitiude of the “ manager” I wonder if the ATO would like to know about this situation of cash for large payments instead of Eftpos!!"
