"This bakery has been my family's go to bakery for ordering birthday cakes for the past few years. We've had the bakery on our radar ever since we noticed the cakes while we were waiting for pho at the shop next door. While there doesn't seem to be much foot traffic, I do think they get a steady stream of customers ordering cakes. We recently ordered a mango cake for my parents' anniversary during the stay at home orders. Most other bakeries are unfortunately closed or no longer selling cakes, so we were lucky and happy to find out that Amor was still taking orders for cakes. I do believe that their most popular cake is the mango. If you look through their photos, it seems like most customers also order this particular cake and I can see why! They take slices of the mango and curl it into a funnel type shape, making the height of the cake much taller and giving it a much more aesthetic look. We ordered the 6 for $25. I believe 8 is almost ten dollars more. The mango used does seem to be fresh, with slices encompassing the round cake as well. I thought the cake was light and soft not too sweet. Mango slices were a little on the rawer side so it wasn't the sweetest; the strawberries weren't too sweet either. I think if they had a bit more cream inside the cake, it would have been a better ratio of cake to cream. My sister also orders her cakes from Amor. She likes the plainest cake fruit cake with flowers on top for decoration. An 8 is only $22, which I think is a very good deal. The cake, again, is soft and fluffy and there always is a good amount of cream included. She can request for certain colored roses on the cake, and sometimes the flowers do have a tinge of artificialness, but it's not too noticeable. I believe this is the second or third time we've ordered her birthday cake from this bakery and it's always consistently good. Amor is a mom and pop shop bakery; we usually place our cake order over the phone and schedule a pick up day. The bakery is located in the Pho Pasteur and Rosemead Supermarket. Ton of parking spots in the plaza."

"Small mom and pop donut shop located all the way down San Gabriel Blvd in Rosemead. Probably wouldn't even have known about this place had it not been for some food pages and Yelp; plaza has several other shops, but businesses didn't seem too crazy on a Tuesday afternoon. San Gabriel Blvd is also super busy, so it's very easy to miss the plaza if you're not aware of where you're going.It seems like San Gabriel Donut's popular items are the cream puffs and blueberry donut holes. I called ahead and unfortunately all the donut holes were sold out, but they did have two boxes of cream puffs available which she'd hold for me until I arrived.The donut selection was pretty slim by late afternoon, but they still had the glazed, sugar, cinnamon selections as well as some fritters and cinnamon rolls. Prices are not too bad as well, with donuts running at around $1.10 and rolls at $1.95. They also offer croissant and bagel sandwiches as well as coffee, milk teas, and smoothies.A dozen cream puffs are now $6, which is a very good deal it seemed they were taken out of the fridge, as the box had some condensation. I was a little disappointed to see that not all the cream puffs were the same there was the light fluffy doughy ones, but there was also maybe about 5-6 donut holes that were filled with cream. Maybe they ran out of the light dough used for cream puffs and had to replace them with donut batter, but the texture and taste were definitely different.The fluffy cream puffs are definitely super airy and light I would say that they're similar to the ones I enjoyed from a West Covina store. The filling of whipped cream was not too sweet, with the powdered sugar giving each bite that extra kick of sweetness. Can easily eat several in one sitting if I'm not paying attention. By the next day though, these cream puffs were a little less fresh, so it's best to eat them the day of.The donut filled cream puffs were not too tasty donut was already a little stale and didn't taste too great coming from the fridge. Felt like the texture was a bit chewy and bready.Dozen assorted donuts are $12 while blueberry donut holes are $3 per dozen. Definitely feel like they have a ton of local customers who stop by to pick up their morning treats. There's a ton of beverages in the refrigerated section upon walking in; seems like they installed plexi-glass and a barrier as well to ensure safety.tl;dr Highly recommend their cream puffs! Make sure you call ahead to ensure that they still have cream puffs/donut holes available. And hopefully the cream puff combination with donut hole cream puffs was just a one time thing."

"Last weekend, there were maybe 18 people waiting in the lobby to sit. 18! Anyway, they all looked like they just came out of the church or something.. I had a party of 6 and went to the register so that they could put us. The lady saw me standing there after 4 minutes and it looked like they had only a few waiters and a few chefs this night. She saw me and said a moment that we'll be with you soon, and then she came around after maybe another 4 minutes. I was afraid that we would not get our food quickly because all the other 18 people who are sitting right now, but they were prompt and we got our appetizers and food in time. Ordering one of my favorite pieces here is the Chicken Fried Steak plate... it's soooo good! Your Avocado Bacon Burger is also really good! I'm sure you'll keep coming."

"The Portuguese egg tarts are great here but they also sell other baked goods and cakes. The location is located in a nondescript strip mall with plenty of parking. On the weekends, there could sometimes be a small line of customers. They require a minimum of $20 for credit card charges."

"Tozai food market is my convince market. If you run out of idea for feed your family, this is the place you want to go. Sashimi always fresh. Spicy tuna also very fresh. Saturday and Sunday has more choices of foods. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Don't forget the Mochi. I always get peanut butter and chocolate Mochi feeling from Fugatsudo."

"If you are a fan of Hong Kong cafe food then this is for you. I've been going to HK Cafe since I was a teenager and this place always brings back those late night vibe of eating at 1am after a night out drinking. The service there can be lacking a little because it's so busy but at least the food is good."

"You might not get good service at this place but the food is pretty good. Make sure to try their fried chicken steak and try all the different sauces they offer. This place also offer one of the best lemon ice tea in town and refillable Thai ice tea is a plus."
