"I've read most of the reviews and I'm surprised at the few bad ones. We counted about 30 people there on a Wednesday lunchtime. We were amused by the decor (bras and pants, all clean, naturally!). The menu was varied and the choice excellent. Service was efficient. We had the beef stew -excellent and the ribs as well as the roast halibut. All beautifully cooked and good sized portions. It leans in a more Flemish then French direction but that suited us. We especially liked the cheese and bacon starter. A great find. Would go there again without hesitation and would recommend it to others."

"The title says it all. We went as a French family and thoroughly enjoyed our moules marinieres and the fish. At around €10 for a main, pudding and a drink deal, we were very satisfied.Our waiter called Esteban was particularly helpful and friendly. That was part of our trip to Clairmarais. I strongly recommend you spend a day in that lovely "swamp" too. There are some restaurants there too but unless you book on a sunny day or at weekends, you d have to come at St Onerous to eat like we did."

"Still the best place in town for welcome, atmosphere and food. Last Saturday evening was fully booked before they opened and this is not unusual!Thanks once again to Maxime, Loic and new girl Elodie at the front of house and equally important the people in back for producing the food. A most enjoyable couple of evenings once again. There's nothing on the menu that I don't recommend and there isn't much now that I haven't tried."

"Good food and very charming smiling service, in this family run retaurant. Lunch menu offered during the week...everything is of a high quality. I especially like the gambas and the duck in Ginger, and the children loved the nems (springrolls) and noodles."
