"We went to Colibri Restaurant on Saturday night. The restaurant is located (in contrast to the map of Tripadvisor in the 'Portales' at the main square (Zocalo), where a concert took place when we were there. We came and were lucky to find a free table. We ordered drinks while we waited for friends to come. After we got the drinks and already ordered a few foods, the manager came and asked us to go. They told us the table was reserved and we couldn't stay there anymore. We explained that no one told us that the table was reserved (no card shows this, and the waiter took our order! . We could finally stay there, but the food came very slowly. A friend had to wait about 1.5 hours to get a sandwich, although we have asked for it many times!!! Of course it was an extremely busy night due to the concert, but the way the staff manipulated the situation was really bad. Unfortunately, this is not the first negative experience with the service. We came here once and brought all the coffee as an ice cream coffee, although we ordered the hot version. The bad service is very regrettable because the food (both coffee and the crepes are really good. So if you want to have a good coffee or crepes and don't worry about a bad service, that's definitely a good place. If you take care of the service, I suggest you find another place."

"This little coffee place is probably the best one in whole latino america. furthermore the atmosphere is super chilled and warm. they offer all kind of coffee, also free of lactose and a cappuccino for example costs 35 pesos. also try their cakes, they are really delicious and tasty. the menu even shows quinoa salat and many other different amazing food. really try this place and for sure you´ll fall in love as well ! I don't know when they open but not before 2 pm, therefore it's not a breakfast recommendation."

"We stopped a morning for breakfast and I'm glad we chose this restaurant! we had ordered two eier benedikt and they were absolutely perfect! the eggs were cooked exactly right and the Hollandaise sauce was very good, creamy, but not too rich. our food was brought out, we got free churros and muffins, which was a welcome surprise, and also really tasted good. the service has cut everything well. the boss/owner came out to chat with us and made us feel very welcome. I can say a lot heart and soul goes into this place, and I would recommend this beautiful restaurant to everyone in cholula. eating is delicious and people there are very friendly."
