"Located in a small business plaza with off-street parking, Cafe Cereza served up the best latte I have had in Mexico: smooth and foamy with robust flavor. It was the perfect accompionment to the superbly dense, moist chocolate-Kahlua cake baked by one of the owners."

"Stumbled across the beautiful, oasis of a restaurant while walking through a neighborhood in San Jose. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The plants and shade make it an enjoyable retreat from the sun and pavement. There is a school across the street and when the students got out it was nice to see them getting picked up and just generally being teens hanging out with their friends. Other than that it was quiet and slow on that block.With my meal I also got the juice of the day, it was pineapple, and it came in a HUGE mug. Yummy and refreshing. The food was not only tasty but was beautifully presented in keeping with their theme of Mariposas (butterflies)."

Ideally situated on one of the main corners in the Art District, she and her staff are able to serve you coffee and sandwiches while you enjoy doing some people watching in the shade of the large trees. The inside gift shop has books of local flavor (food, art, and culture) plus gifts that you'll definitely want to take home with you."

"My girlfriend and I were walking around and stubbled upon this place. We walked in and two different patrons raved about the ribs. Well, I love my ribs, so I had to try them. The staff was pleasant and sat us immediately. The fire pit in the middle of the restaurant entertained and made it a relaxing , almost camping like feel. The lofe band was keeping the beat and making the experience fun. We ordered one rib dinner for the two of us. Welllll, they did it right! There was nothing left on the plate. If your out and about, give it a try! I know Ill be back for more!"
