"Very delicious coffee and cheesecake. The waitress is extremely friendly and speaks fluent English. I like sitting in the little garden because there's a playground for kids and a lot of green plants. Definitely worth a visit when you're in San Jose. The internet is 14/14 MBit/s this should be faster."

"So good you will have problems eating elsewhere! This place in Escalante is such an incredible find. And this is hard in a city that really INCREDIBLE food was told by a professional cook here) and in the neighborhood known for some of the best foods this great food in SJ Escalante. The attention to detail, the beauty of this place, the food quality, the personal knowledge, the warmth and kindness of the staff, the interesting menu, the local and sustainable ingredients and the beautifully designed decor alone make this place just wonderful and a full pleasure. But then the food comes and knocks it out of the park. Wow. Nice made from really local ingredients and especially well. It is easier to make things look good as taste good and this place is both excellent. The chefs have a real knowledge of the combination of tastes that makes this place especially and beyond! Local healed ham overtakes some of the best San Daniele prosciutto I had and for our restaurant we go through a lot of high-end 2 year prosciutto). On the local hardened ham plate were these fried puffed pastries that were magical when paired with the strawberry jam, arugula, cured ham. What a mental combination! Then the creamy salty olives on the table only reported, perfect for the sweetness of the hamsterberry. And so we had EACH plates. Perfectly made, specially made, gracefully designed. For the quality, this place was a great value and overhauled some very incredible restaurants that we have in NYC. Please, someone put this restaurant on the best list! The cocktails here of the same incredible quality with special, unique ingredients and pairings from their famous Mezcal drinks that the owner of Mexico itself brings back to their amazing coffee offers and very good wine menu we tried a few of their wines and all were over and beyond and a great price for quality). We almost tried their whole menu here 3x and wish we could have eaten more here! Standouts are each of their lamb or beef eaters – the most tender place you can imagine! And great portions to boot. I think the cooks here enjoy meat dishes and vegetable dishes with incredible combinations, so we enjoyed most. Another standout was the delicate beef tongue, then with a beautiful sauce satt on salad leaves with fresh lime Oh my gosh cut. Oh and the swine flu with peanuts!!!! And the salad with local vegetables, cherry tomatoes, celery seeds, dried and fresh fruits and roasted coconuts and almonds in a slightly blue cheese sauce was inflated and possibly the most interesting and tasty salad I had in a restaurant. Staff are very passionate and knowledgeable about food and are also simply friendly and provide for people we love when we arrive. Mizael, the manager, knows the Ins and Outs of EVERY ingredient his story, no matter how small. He was such a wonderful host who made our time magical. He took care of us very well and was so thoughtful to make a little tasting with us and send us my favorite crib plate on the house – what a great hospitality! The garden on the back is beautiful and is such a romantic place to enjoy a dinner! PS we have never been huge in orange wine, but they offer the best we ever had and loved every sip! They irritate all their drinks, I think it is probably impossible to choose here wrong! The best restaurant in SJ in my opinion and we went to the top 3 when visiting. This place will be one of your highlights....still remember in the cold of NY!"
