"Wie waren dort einkaufen, auch hier sehr nette Bedienung und die Preise sind wirklich in Ordnung. Auswahl ist Super , man bekommt wunderbare Käse und auch das Brot sollte man probieren und mitnehmen, sehr gut.Leider ist hier nicht immer auf , man sollte sich die Öffnungszeiten genau anschauen da wir vor verschlossener Tür gestanden hatten.Aber sonst alles OK"

"Auch wenn der Weg über den Schutzengelweg etwas beschwerlich ist - ein Besuch der Rohrkopfhütte lohnt sich. Die wunderbare Aussicht ins Tal und auf den Tegelberg lässt sich mit wohlschmeckendem Kaiserschmarren mit Zwetschenkompott und kühler Rhabarberschorle genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Walked along the picturesque path from Füssen and stumbled upon this lovely restaurant hotel. Sat outside (Round the back) in the sunshine and had a delicious lunch. Waiter was extremely helpful. Food was cooked perfectly. One of those moments in time you don’t forget....Took the ferry boat back to Füssen it stops right outside the hotel."

"The cafe was recommended by our hotel. We arrived too early and were not able to check in. The food was good, but the view was great. You may see castle from patio. There was a small herb garden so lots of bees if you are outdoors. The food was okay but the desserts are amazing!"

"We went to this restaurant in April, when all of the hiking trails were still snowed over and there wasn't much to do. The restaurant and area had great views. It was everything you would expect out of a mountaintop hunting lodge restaurant. German food...and views. The waiter prepared some of meal himself. We saw him pull out the fresh vegetables and cut them up himself for the salad. Food was good. They had a couple of German hats laying around, which made for fun pictures. WARNING: If you are susceptible to altitude sickness, do not drink a beer! I love drinking a German beer with my lunch, but got nauseated for a couple of minutes when the alcohol was kicking in. The altitude is not all that high, but I found that the combination of altitude and alcohol not a good mix. : I believe was cash only."

"We stayed for 7 days at the hotel. It was quite an experience. The place is large but relatively basic by European hotel standards.It is more like a bed and breakfast place that you find in the UK. We had rooWe stayed for 7 days...at the hotel. It was quite an experience. The place is large but relatively basic by European hotel standards. It is more like a bed and breakfast place that you find in the UK. We had rooms which are furnished in what can only be described as eclectic manner. We had an awful pastel mural covering one wall of the local scenery and fake Greek plinths as a TV stand. The rooms have separate WC and bathroom that has a shower and no bath. We did have spectacular view of the mountains and castles especially at night when one is lit up. The breakfasts were superb but the main meals tended to be very similar. The vegetarian food was not good and the meat eaters said that theirs was not much better. There is a much better eating venue across the road at a local tavern. The hotel does offer free use of bikes which is excellent for touring local sites. One aspect that disappointed me slightly was that from the brochure it appears that this place is located in the countryside. It is not. It is in the middle of village which must be said is charming. ms which are furnished in what can oly be described as ecletic"

"I'm a gluten free guy and found many wonderful delights here! I started with the tomato. Wed fish soup that was out of this world -- it had a wonderful day huge prawn in the center. Following that we shared a tomato caprese salad that competed with ones I've had in Italy. For the main dish we shared their red fish in Tomato sauce with mozzarella. Yum !"
