"We visited from Ireland and found this excellent restaurant for lunch in a beautiful setting in the stunning village of Seguret. The friendly service was great and the quality of the food was superb."

"I have to admit that the problem with our experience was the rating given, presumably by other TripAdvisor reviews, of and even more so by TripAdvisor listing it as the best restaurant in Séguret. I can only assume that the previous good reviews...were made when the restaurant was having better times or perhaps were overly influenced by the basic ambiance of Seguret rather than the restaurant itself. Certainly, it is NOT the best restaurant in Seguret but a distant last. Perhaps this is exaggerated by being next door to Le Mesclun, which fully deserves its rating and is by far the best restaurant in Seguret and probably amongst the best in the area. Specifically, the service at the Côté Terasse was very poor. The reception was casual and the continuing service inattentive uninformed. The menu was presumably aimed at a French version of fast food but was neither French or quality fast food. In summary, if you want to eat quality French food delivered with the normal French attention to presentation and you have exhausted the other restaurant options available in Seguret look elsewhere in the area. Someone in your party may have to volunteer to be the designated driver but it would be worth it."

"We landed under this wash, or time is set by the noise of the cigales and the water of the fountain. The frame is sumptuous. .. the Provencal charm in a village classified among the most beautiful in france. we let ourselves be seduced by the artisanal ice cream. a moment of sweet and greedy pleasure for our taste buds ... ice creams highlighting the smells and treasures of provence. Calisson, fig, honey and lavender, honey. and other pineapple delights, vanilla, cherry griotte. a must-see if you lose in the cool streets of this beautiful village."

"Here are the facts: we reserved, arrived on time and were told to choose between two tables. So we chose one and sat down and waited. And waited. We watched other people arrive and sit down at three other tables. These fortunate customers were shown the menu board, got served drinks and then had their orders taken. In the meantime we sat and waited, totally ignored by the waitress. We tried to attract her attention, to no avail. In the end we called out to her and she snapped that she was busy. I went up to her and explained that we had arrived before the other tables and she screamed at me that she was a person and how dare we call out to her...??? Naturally at that point we left. Turns out we had the right idea over breakfast at the guest house we learnt that on top of the rudeness, the food is bad and way overpriced. Spare yourselves a very unpleasant experience."
