"Nachdem wir mehrfach an lauschigen Sommerabenden die Qualität der Speisen bei Angelo in bester Erinnerung hatten, wurden wir an einem Frühlingsabend recht enttäuscht! Ich orderte frittierte Calimari in Gedanken an das gleiche Gericht in Süditalien, seltsam fand ich alsBeilage Salzkartoffeln!? Die passen ja eigentlich besser zu Rotbarschfilet paniert mit Remoulade! Okay, als Alternative Weißbrot. Kurzum, die wenigen Calimariringe waren auf einem umso größeren Haufen Salatblätter angerichtet. Sie waren zart, schmeckten jedoch nach nichts!! Trotz reichlichem Gebrauch der Salzmühle und der Zitrone wurden sie nicht schmackhafter. Ich erinnerte michwehmütig an nach Meer duftende Calimariringe in Italien, mit feinem Olivenölgeschmack, diese Dinge vor mir hatten die Geschmacksintensität von Pappmaché. Oh my God, dafür € 16.-!! Das Brot war von gleicher Qualität wie die Calimari, in einer Pizzeria mitHolzofen ziemlich schwach. Unsere Tochter hatte Lasagne: sahnig-orange Sauce, entfernt an Tomate erinnernd, reichlich fettiger Käse darüber, die Füllung undefinierbar, weitgehend gechmacksfrei, die Teigplatten noch hart. Dies Pizza Funghi e Cipolla war okay, frische Zutaten, der Teig war gut, die scharfe Salami gab delikate Würze. Das Schnitzel Milanese war okay, die Pommes dazu echt lecker, das Beste an diesem Abend! Aber insgesamt: frustrierend!! Vielleicht ist ein wenig frischer Wind in der Cucina nötig?"

"Have lunch at Old Italy today. We were warmly welcomed by the managing director. We had a free table, which I like to appreciate. We had as start Bruschetta Classico with tomatoes and basil. That was top. Then salads and pizza as second. Perfect the floor and the covering. Service was friendly and competent and what I appreciate was not intrusive when you take longer time while eating. Another espresso to finish this was really a very good cafe. I can go there any recommendation. Five ️️️️️ in any case."
