"Cadence serves coffee, cakes and sandwiches near the top of the hill. It is quite a lot in the middle of nowhere quite surprising they have vegan options! The toastia I had here was incredibly good, like the coffee. Sitting or sitting on hay piles. It is a nice place to stop when you are on a long walk."

"My partner and I stopped here for lunch. I had a ciabatta with roasted sweet and crooked with fries as supplement. the ciabatta came with a small partial salad of water circles, chopped cherry tomatoes and roasted seeds, and a part of vegan kolesslaw with vegan mayo. the entire plate was exaggerated with a balsamic dressing. the ingredients were all really fresh and the bumblebee was very good and there was a lot of it in the ciabatta. I probably didn't need to serve the side of fries that was quite generous and came with vegan mayo. my vegetarian partner had a sandwich with halloumi, salat and tomaten. his sandwich came with the same salates as mine, but veggie. he also ordered the fries and a vegan sausage roll with beautiful, fluffy pastry and a very traditional tasting sausage meat. while the vegan options offered were not massive original, eating was fresh, well made and the portion sizes were good. they also did a vegan milkshake and had vegan ice cream flavor, but we could not try them because we were filled. I think it would be a good place to take carnivorous family members with many known options, but also some beautiful vegan options for them! updated by the previous review on 2021-06-08"

"A lovely little family business selling DELICIOUS coffee from a little horse box next to the old fort. Atmosphere is always spot on and super chill. I have met so many lovely people and dogs there. The vegan brownie is the best I have ever had (and gluten free too)."

"From the way, right past the church, away from the sea. Beautiful ambience both inside and inside the courtyard. Very friendly staff, great food with excellent veggie and vegan options. Well, that the extra few yards are past all the other cafes to find them."

"Tried hector’s shed today, since it new management. I had the vegan breakfast bap and it was delicious! best vegan breakfast in west sussex! very friendly staff, I go back! they also do gluten-free and vegan cakes and it is dog friendly!"
