"There is Halal Non halal food stalls. I had the fried wet mee and it was absolutely a bit burned mee and the gravy/soup was just excellent. It was the 1st time eating at this shop[yup ... Mee MYR5 Coffee was better too today MYR2.50"

"Non-halal. Outlet offering good choices of simple local food and drinks like kampua noodles, laksa, rojak, kompia (Foochow's burger), coffee, tea, and desserts like ABC and more. Food and drinks are affordable and some are really tasty. Popular among locals, and can get crowded especially during meal and tea time. Place your order and pay at the front cashier counter, then grab a seat and wait for your goodies to be served."

"Ate here 4 times (mee sup, nasi lemak, kangkong rice, and laksa). Nothing special about the dishes: none were bad, yet none were particularly good, all just ok. It is, however, open between lunch and dinner, when other vege places are closed. Prices are higher than average (e.g., laksa was 50% higher). Easy to find, located in tourist area in pleasant open-air cafe."

"What a happiness to discover this wonderful place, for no better reason than a strange contrast of Chinese characters (see photo!) the lower sign has þ ‡ (raw meat) and precisely above it is a sign that has tolerant (vegetaric). so, intent: the vegetarian caffe is not in the first floor! the cafe atmosphere is casual, with wall suspensions that they know the mission of caffe: vegan eating, natural health. Although I was initially a bit confused by the menu, the owner came by immediately and explained that the caffe ala carte offered or meals with various health drinks. most important: finally a break of pure white rice! for the next week I ate there daily, sometimes twice a day, enjoy organic, low-fat versions of local favorites such as nasi lemak and mee hoon soup, a multi-body pinridge and iceless kayak toast. it is a family dinner, and the owners seem really motivated by their mission, and proud to show their kitchen and explain the preparation methods and ingredients. so not only were my taste buds satisfied, while my heart was overly oil and salt was spared, I ended every meal with a spirit in lightness."

"I've come here for the Laksa, which was previously at Chieng's Corner at High Street. It's considered the best in town, on par with Kuching's kind of Laksa. The stall owner hails from Kuching, and he's meticulous with cooking its broth, which sits for a period of time for the flavor to sink in before the first bowl is served. Chicken is in chunks, and the Sambal Belacan has the right touch of Belacan plus some extras."
