"We drove to this venue in a sedan with visitors from Brisbane on Labour Day to find that the restaurant was closed so rather disappointed. What made it worse was the dirt road down from the place was almost impossible to navigate in a sedan so will not visit again.What would help this business and save the grief would be a new sign on the main road instead of the old faded one and a changeable sign saying "now open" or "closed".The rose garden and the position was pleasant."

"We've traditionally steered clear of Motel restaurants in the past as they are typically not great. Friends of our suggested we go to King Arthurs for a meal and we politely agreed. What a marvellously, unexpected pleasure. The atmosphere, or lack thereof, is a negative. But let's move past that. If you dine in the evening you do have a light spectacle to enjoy whilst you dine. The service is extremely friendly. Now to the food. Delicious. We have since returned for a repeat experience. It was equally as good the second time. We highly recommend this restaurant and happily place it as our number 3 on our list for Gladstone restaurants."

"Was certainly a Mother's Day dinner to remember the festive here at encore. eating was hot and so many dishes to choose from. the salad bar was so fresh and many different possibilities, but the sweetness were to die. so many different Jellies,...Cheesecakes mousse, fresh fruit salad and the soft serve ice cream, yum. very nice service from the personal, so friendly and helpful. will definitely be back. prost."

"On the huge McDonalds sign out the front it advertises the fact that the restaurant is open 24hours although this is not the case, when we came off the road as per the sign we were told oh, that is only on the weekends ...Really annoying."
