"I dropped by for a coffee whilst studying one morning and was greeted in the nicest way. If every cafe in Townsville had service like Nova, we'd be spoilt for choice. Great prices, plenty of spaces to sit."

"The sauce, mussel and bread was good, however prawns were not fresh to the point that it tasted disgusting to chew it. I was told by a staff it is due to the supplier inconsistent quality, however I am utterly disappointed that nothing much had been done and have to pay a full price for the meal that has two mussels and four slice of bread. Coming from a hospitality background, I know hospitality industry isn't easy ,but what can be improve is to at least remove the item and replace with something else."

"The crew at Dose are always friendly and welcoming, the service is fast and the coffee and food are amazing! I usually go for the cold brew coffee which is fantastic, the caramel slice is to die for and the pulled chicken turkish is amazing. I usually head here during the week for a quick morning tea when I need a pick me up, can't recommend enough!"

"Went for brunch ordered at counter at 10.40 and was served food and drinks finally at 11.30 ! Was only one person on shift with nine people in the restaurant and she was also serving a customer in the choc shop. Was very disappointed that our food arrived before our drinks and that we had to wait for another staff member to arrive at 11 before any orders were started. Food was good however in the crepes they used old brown soft bananas which was disappointing as the waffles had nice fresh bananas. Not sure I'd bother going back again wasn't anything to rave about."

"We were in the city oasis hotel and enjoyed the bonus of sidewalk caffes. they do not expect much from a restaurant or caffe connected to a motel or hotel. this is different! eating was amazing. I have the sorts. in the menu very appreciated. the staff was very helpful and the atmosphere was great. they can eat inside or inside out. great coffee too!"
