"Vsiited the Nag's Head with my wife on Sunday, August 15 early evening. We received a friendly welcome and ordered the steak pie and the rabbit pie. To be fair, the pies were fine but the pastry crust and vegetables had been microwaved to a state of near-destruction. Pastry was chewy and the poor carrots were limp and tasteless. To make matter worse, the saute potatoes served on the side were obviously deep fried and unpleasant. It was a great shame because the meal was ruined for the sake of 50 pence worth of vegetables not being cooked properly. It is such a lovely setting but we will not eat there again."

"Absolutely wonderful from the booking, welcome fabulous table with river view. the food was excellently seasoned, presented, temperature and portion. all staff are so friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and yet professional it is a real joy to eat there if it is just a light lunch or a special meal is not the menu and it is reasonably expensive. will be re-entered."

"Lovely little place which has a deceptive amount of space inside and in the pretty garden. Several savoury and sweet options available, we tried the burger and the Victoria sponge, both of which were really good and deserve full marks. Soy milk available."
