"Pre-marathon carb-loading meal so I needed it to be early (6.30 table) and not messed around by an incompetent waiter who lied about the reason for a 40+mins delay to serving our main courses. Food was functional at best. Disappointing evening, not worth the money. At least the poor service saved us the expense of dessert, more drinks and a tip. Freezing cold in there too. Much better when it was Auberge, not this soulless dump."

"The best interieur for a caffe. a small waiting snake and covid rules strictly followed with enough space between customers. Polite employees took the order and we got cookies on the run. a large cappuccino at its best presentation and taste was great. we liked the cake it is as delicious as my wife also enjoyed it. who visits the uxbridge high street for shopping can relax a few minutes before the home trip. very pretty place on the high road with best setup."

"So stopped for a tea the lady promoted a larger tea for an extra but when it came it was really watery and lots of milk I said I can’t drink this can I have another t bag but there was too much milk!...so she makes me another tea at which point I ask for another t bag she said NO let it brew for minutes! I said I don’t have mins my film has started my husband asked for another t bag she says WTF I said listen you promoted a larger tea that I didn’t really want you make the first one too milky now your charging me for your mistake! Never again am I having tea at Starbucks. Coffee I believe is nice but their tea is rubbish the t bags they use are awful! And maybe if they took there time making the tea i.e. with love and care it would be a different story."

"Delicious chips, fried fish and grilled fish options. beautiful decor, good seating and excellent staff. food prices are ugly, but takeaway is cheap. I wish they also offered coal-drilled fish."
