"One of my favorite pastry shops in the area. Perfect stop for take away treats before a road trip to Galicia. I always order the chamuças, bolinhos de bacalhau and pasteis de nata. However, literally everything is good! Also a really nice outdoor patio with shade if you want a quick, but delicious lunch. They make burgers, steak sandwiches and more. "Estamos no cimo de VN Cerveira, temos uma vista fantástica sobre o Rio Minho. Só por isso já vale a pena a subida!O local é simpático, mas é um café...melhorado. Devem marcar sempre antes de irem, bacalhau na brasa e picanha são os pratos fortes, nao comprometem mas esperava melhor. Trata-se dum espaço familiar, descompremetido, seria muito melhor se o tempo permitisse (tem esplanada) e aproveitássemos a mágica vista. O preço, um pouco alto, para o que nos foi apresentado, mas a "taxa da vista" vale a pena!"

"Quiero hacer primero esta aclaración - partiendo de la base que prefiero calidad a cantidad - Hicimos caso a una opinión en esta página donde informaban que el bacalao era excepcional.A continuación relato mi opinión. De primero pedimos sopa de legumbre ( nos la sirvieron fría la devolvimos para que nos la calentaran y de segundo bacalao y sobre este plato tengo que decir que ni la raciones eran grandes, ni tenían calidad. Como cob frecuencia en Portugal y este bacalao es el peor que nos han servido. Además el comedor no era nada confortable sin calefacción y eso que el día era frío )"

"We called here after we saw the sign from the side of the road. it was clean and well furnished. not too many people, but it was late and we were hungry. we couldn't read the menu, but my brother asked for steak and the waiter pointed out. we all decided to have steak. big choice. it was perfect. beautiful delicate and tasty. with frit very much as cramped, but we forget to put the batato first, we can have chips when we had. the waiter was very friendly and attentive. an excellent service, excellent eating, what more do they need after we had ordered, asked a roommate if she could help us how she spoke English, so it was a shame we ordered as soon as there was something else we liked. we would return to that."

"Great experience. At arrival we were welcomed warmly. We sat outside.Tables were beautifully laid.The assistant manager came to great us, we were offered a drink and were given the Menus that were written in Portuguese, English and French. Staff members spoke English, Portuguese, Spanish fluently. German and French were spoken by a co-owner and waiter named Cristiano.Drinks were appropriately garnished.Wine list was good, represented well the portuguese variety.Wine was offered in bottles, half bottles or jugs ( 1 or 1/2 litres - house selection of reds and whites).Natural organic and semi-organic juices were delicious and nutritious . we tried Orange, apple and beetroot and carrot and orange, absolutely fresh and delicious. Some of these natural-organic juices are seasonal. StartersWe went for:Pimentos do Padrão - Little grilled green peppers seasoned with thick sea salt.( Locals say - "Pimentos do padrão, uns picam outros nao" by that they mean that some are spicy and some are not, those that are hot are really hot)Calamari - Battered Squid Rings served with a few drops of lemon Selection of regional delicacies - Codfish cakes, meaty croquets, seafood patty´s, olives, warm bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, parma ham , selection of portuguese creamy cheeses. Mixed Salad - ( fresh, tasty, colorful) soft leave letuce, ripened tomatoes, sliced carrot and onion, mixed peppers and a mix of green and black olives, seasoned beautifly with a olive oil, vinagre, mustard, salt and pepoper dressing. Light, fresh, pleasurable.Main course :Bacalhau à Marinel - House recipe of Codfish - salted fish, 500 g+ fillet of Cod fried in olive oil with onions, red peppers and olives, served in a bed of homemade sliced fried potatoes - Sweet and sour, perfectly cooked.( 2 people - 19 euros)Salmão Grelhado - Grilled Salmon accompanied with sauté potatoes, broccoli and thin carrot sticks. ( Perfect) Rissois de espinafres - Spinach mini patty´s served with a mixed green leafy salad.(Vegan)Desserts:Mousse au chocolate - ( homemade) Creamy and light.Cacao and organic vanilla were easily tasted in each spoonful.Leite Creme - Creme brulee - Excellent Chocolate Torte - Humid Cacao torte - sweet and caloric, excellent. Garnished with caramelized tangerines.Melaõ - Melon - Seasonal local fruit. Teas, Coffees and LiqueursGood quality coffee ( 2 expressos)Great cart of organic teas- made at the table by mixing the chosen tea leafs and hot water.Honey and Brandy liqueur made in a nearby town ( Lovelhe).Fans forever.Service - very good, efficient, friendly and quick.Ambience - Relaxed, friendly and informal.Music - Jazz, World Music and soft Electronic.Prices - $$$$We would definitely return"
