"We came here on recommendation as a family. The inn has its own house battles and accordingly Defte on the clear map. Fresh and smoked sausages, slaughter plates, carvings, meat cheese and vesper in all variants, as supplements there are bread, great crispy pommes, sour wort...Leider cannot find a salad on the map. The whole thing is at more than fair prices I had the smoked sausages with pommes for 6,50 €. Overall we paid € 650 completely. Here you get something for your money! So if you put less emphasis on ambience and more on good food, the Linde is recommended!"

"Because it was so beautiful recently in the North Black Forest (although kulinarically a bit grow through, I start with friends again for a one-day expedition: 130 kilometers drive, 3x returning and 3 kilometers “walking” (more the ramped ankle of the friend does not allow to . There is nothing about a balanced holiday day. The municipality of Waldachtal, consisting of 5 sub-sites, is in memory of me, above all, as a somewhat old-baked rehab location (Leützenhardt and as a primitive black-forest ham destination in the Mönchhof-Sägemühle (in Vesperweiler – Nomen est Omen!). Otherwise it always did a backpack vesper. The “Old Post” is at the entrance of Lützenhardt and does not make much visually in the outside view. One of the three tables on the outside terrace is a lively early-stop group, which is preferably liquid. The guest room in the interior is empty on a Friday afternoon. Even if the “Alte Post” offers overnight stays and cheap multi-day packages, I suspect that local regular guests are mainly in the process. Tourists will probably prefer the attractive slope with panoramic view of this rather unspectacular location downtown. On the menu of the “Old Post” you will find mainly carving and burger variations, including muzzles, cheese parrots, salads. We order the homemade cheese parrots with supplement salad (10.50 euros), the pork larders with late zle and salad (14.80 euros), a yeast wheat (3.50 euros), a large cola (3.50 euros), a white wine choir (for very cheap 2.80 euros). And after 20 minutes the dishes are served. The delicate pork larvae in a cream sauce are accompanied by a plentiful full-bodied larvae, as well as a colourful and diverse supplemental salad. The homemade beetles according to the map are nicely roasted as an omelette, but still fluffy inside. The salad is made up of fresh ingredients and is very strongly seasoned, the tomatoes look a little watery (as so often in this rainy summer, the dry potato salad is mixed with plenty of black pepper. Something fascinates Maggi-Odeur, but can also be just a hearty spice mixture. A second white wine choir is already pre-programmed. For digestion, we need an espresso (2,00 Euros, a cup of coffee (2,10 Euros), and a Willy (3,50 Euros), which, while smiling around the palate, burns remarkably in the finish. All in all a solid and well-founded lunch, cheap in the price, no ambitious Haute Cuisine, but honestly prepared, although some decorating decoration had been well on the face of the food. Crockery and glasses are proper and clean, but not entirely my personal taste. A funny eye-catcher is the shot glass in the form of a miniature boom. The toilets are located sideways in a cultivation and are not the latest. Two soap dispensers are so loosely positioned on the sink in the front room that they polish to the ground with every clumsy hand wash. A superfluous anger. Since here and there stages are to be overcome, the place is unfortunately not barrier-free. There are a number of free parking spaces in front of the house, but these are mainly frequented by guests of the nearby pizza and diner shop. This is how the preferences are distributed... If you still feel a little excess force after eating, you can stroll to the nearby Breitenbach lakes or visit the always well- frequented ice cream parlour or climb the sweating steep slope to the panoramic view. We choose the latter (not without the background of the accompanying friends ."

"If you visit the Black Forest as a Touri and are a bit sugary, creamy and alcoholy affinity, you have to destroy a Black Forest cherry cake. It is probably as many legends as the Viennese Sachertorte. And probably it can only be consumed in some selected places. It's pretty sniffing to me, but as a curious culinary artist, I like to accompany other cake addicts, at least for empirical study purposes. The traditional Café Brünz, located on Lützenhardter Höhe and just opposite the local football field, has existed for over 55 years – as the local service gives me credentials. Nevertheless, I cannot remember from previous visits; but I'm not the coffee house owner. Probably the café is visited by the local rehabilitation patients at the nearby Klinik Sonnenhof. What is the charm? After a rich lunch with friends in downtown Lützenhardt, we are tormenting the steep path up to the quarrel. You can now feel thirst, perhaps even the first latent underseed. Café Brünz seems to have a close cooperation with the Pfalzgraf plant in the near Palatinate village, but the details do not have to tang the needy guest. The spacious dining room of the café still has a past charm in artificial Biedermeier style, but we prefer a table on the outside terrace at lukewarm temperatures. An architecturally bold, modern second terrace on stilts seems to have been docked to the house not too long ago. For the selection of cakes and cakes, the valuable guest is asked into the interior, but my companions blindly choose the Black Forest cherry cakes (for incredible 2.70 euros the piece and a cream cake (2.50 euros the piece). With consumption you probably save a lunch and the super-cheap price is inconceivable. On the other hand, the juicy sponge cake has a very traditional and thrived, with a base of yeast dough and abundant sprinkles. You can't do anything wrong with that. Those who do not belong to the cake and cake fraction will find on the map various coffee and chocolate specialities such as Irish Coffee, as well as a selection of ice cups and variations such as lemon ice cream with champagne. Our selection of drinks follows the usual preferences, where we are also amazed at the reasonable prices. The sparkling white wine choir for 2.70 euros is served in a quarter glass and is generously cast. The cappuccino for 2.80 euros convinces with smooth taste. Coffee (4.20 Euros alone is a bit too thin and probably hardly differs from the consistency and taste served in the nearby rehabilitation clinic. Or have we accidentally caught the gentle caffeine-free variant? The fruity Willy for 2.60 Euro runs down as smeared and makes room for the next possible customs. (She'll come! The serviceman acts a little bit behavior, but this is probably due to the use with an annoying mask. Our orders come quickly to the table, only for the invoice no one wants to find out, so that after a long wait I have to go inside. Apart from us there is hardly a handful of guests on site. This is likely to change on Saturday and Sunday. For cake and cake fans I can absolutely recommend this location due to the fabulous prices. All others like to enjoy the good air of the Black Forest Heights. But I would avoid the bodice guest room."
