"We had our sons christening in the homeplace cafe today and it was fantastic! Sarah went above and beyond to make sure everything went right for us. We had exclusive use of the cafe as she closed to the public for the afternoon to accommodate our numbers. The food was amazing and the portions were huge! Everyone had a lovely relaxed afternoon! We will definitely be back again and would highly recommend The Homeplace Cafe to anyone for a small function!"

"I've never been here before, but I drove it a few times. On the way to Cork over the ferry past Duncannon. A big bar and a bar/restaurant from what I saw. The bigger bar became with what I suspect was locals enjoying a good Friday night outside before you went to Wexford. It was probably calmer when we were gone. They stopped eating when we arrived, so we sat in the smaller room. Beer was good and service good and friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our drinks and a chat. A group of Lads knelt the next table had sister fun, but from the time we finished our first drink. Although the food was stopped, we saw a person picking up a dinner. Another couple wanted food and the barwife gave them helpful advice where to get in town / villa for that as their kitchen closed. The couple returned to drinks later. I'll be back when I was less tired after a long trip. Wellington Bridge is a village with a surprising amount of infrastructure given its size and with the Bannow near and its bay, I think it would be a great place to explore or walk or bike."
